When I first admitted

I liked you.

I had to make sure

You might like me back.

I couldn't.

But never the closest.

You had those thick walls

Around yourself

I could just look at you.

I could just speak to you about the weather, subjects and things.

Never about love.

You knew I cannot see colours

But you never asked why.

You never asked how it felt like.

You never asked if I was okay.

But I waited,

Still do I,

To open up to me someday.

The day that you'll say

"I like you, too Nera."

That's why

I even smiled after you stormed out

Because of my confession.
