Hello guys, I just want to say thank you for reading and that the story will get more and more interesting. That's all for now <3
*************
It's been two hours now since Jason left. In that period of time, I called mom. of course, I couldn't tell her about the accident nor that I slept unconscious in a strangers house last night and I woke up with blood on and not remembering anything, because if I did she would freak out or maybe even have a heart attack. So instead I just told her that yesterday I spent the day with Hailee and I slept at her house.
But Hailee, I told her everything but I spared the details, and trust me when I say she went crazy. She didn't believe me when I told her I was fine, and she insisted on coming over, but that was not possible I can't invite her to Jason's house, that would be inappropriate, he was nice enough to let me stay here. I ended up convincing Hailee that I'm alright, and I promised her that I will tell her everything in details the next day.
By thinking of tomorrow, I'm not sure if I can go to the party or not. And I think it's not a good idea to sleep here tonight either. I'm fine now so I can just go home. I mean what's the worst that can happen.
I hear someone coming in, I go to check and there it is Jason, wearing a tight black jean, black sneakers and a garnet t-shirt that fits him so well. He looks so handsome.
It felt weird, waiting for him when to return, and when he did I was standing there impatiently wanting to see his face. 'What the hell is wrong with you Em' My subconscious brings me back to reality along with Jason's voice.
"Hey there, I hope you didn't get bored all alone in here. And I brought you brownies, I hope you like them!"
"Oh thank you, I love them!" He smirks and steps a little closer to me. My heart skips a beat.
"Can we just get over the 'Thank you' stage now?" he looks at me straight in the eyes, and I get lost in his. We stay here for a while just looking at each other. I felt him trying to analyze me. I want to say something, anything to break this eye contact because of as much as I want to stay here looking at him forever, as much as I feel the need of staying away from him.
"Who are you, Emily Grayson? Tell me about you, I want to know you" He says with the same intense analyzing look. Hearing him say my name like this did send me on cloud nine. Luckily my stupid brain finally decides to function, I break the eye contact and take a few steps back.
"There's nothing to know about me, I mean there's nothing interesting to know and I stayed here just because you insisted, and I'm going just after the doctor will check up on me" I answered, trying as much as possible not to be rude. Before he can answer the door bell rings. Saved by the bell.
----
"Tuesday, you must come to the hospital for some analysis and you should stay under surveillance for some time," The doctor says after he finished checking up on me.
"Why? Is there's something wrong?" I ask obviously in a very concerned tone.
"You're very lucky you survived that crash. But we'll do the final checkup, just to be sure. After all, You did hit your head very hard on the ground, and that sometimes it can cause a severe head injury"
"A head injury? Yesterday, they said that she was fine" Jason advances looking concerned as much as I am.
"Yes, but many symptoms of head injuries won't appear right away and-" What's that even supposed to mean?
"But doctor, she didn't bleed or anything and when she woke up she was doing just fine" Jason intervene.
"Some head injuries don't bleed at all, and it can be hard to assess how serious a head injury is just by looking, And the analysis they did yesterday weren't enough. So it's important to come for more analysis, and again you shouldn't stay all by yourself, you need someone to keep an eye on you." I feel sick, dizzy, my hands are trembling. I can't breathe and I can't even think.
"Emily? Are you okay?" Jason notices and I shake my head for a sign of yes.
"Oh, common symptoms of a minor head injury include a headache, a spinning sensation, mild confusion, nausea and temporary ringing in the ears. So if any of this happens to you, tell me right away. We're not sure of anything yet, it will be just a normal checkup so don't worry about it." The doctor says. Is he kidding me? How am I supposed not to worry about all what he just said to me?
No this can't be possible, this mustn't be happening!
