Hey, Guys! Sorry for the delay, I was going through a lot. Anyways here's chapter 12.

 I woke up determined to stay the whole day out of Jason's sight. But my efforts to make that happen collapsed when I found him already in the kitchen preparing breakfast. I can see that he's still tired from yesterday's drinking, but still so handsome.

"Good morning beautiful," he says with a smile. Did he just call me beautiful?

"Good morning, I'm going home and I'll probably stay there for a while"

"Let's have breakfast and then we'll go together"

"I don't feel like eating"

"Let me drive you then"

"No need, really"

He comes closer "I'm sorry for what happened yesterday, I shouldn't have said that I was obviously so drunk and I-"

"Jason," He looks at me with an innocent look, I can see his sincerity "It's ok, I wasn't... You know what, let's just forget it about it"

"So let me take you out tonight, to make it up to you"

"You don't have to make up for anything, it's already forgotten"

"Please, I insist, " he says wit a smile, kind of begging me to accept.

"I can't, I'm sorry, I got other plans"

"Oh, it must be important"

"It's a party and Hailee has been asking me to go with her for a week now" The truth is I was not going to the party, I had no mood for partying, but when he kind of asked me out, I had to lie. Technically speaking I'm not really lying. I mean there's a party anyway.

"Well then, maybe next time," he says a little disappointed

"Maybe."

I arrive at my apartment, it's a little far from Jason's house. It's a very small apartment but convenient for a college student. The house is already clean but I just felt the need to clean it again, or I'm just wasting time before getting back to Jason's place. I must try to stay away from him, but with me staying in the same house as him, that's kind of not happening. It was so stupid to accept his offer, but I kind of felt the need to. I didn't want to stay alone after what the doctor said and he was the only one there.

After a couple of hours of doing nothing interesting, I packed what I'll need for the next few days, until Tuesday.

As soon as I enter Jason's house using the key he gave me, Hailee calls. It's very quiet, I call Jason's name a couple of times before I answer Haile's call to clarify my presence because after all it's not my house and it's kind of rude to come in like I own the place. I think he is not here since there's no response, which is a good thing.

"Hey girl, how are you doing?" Hailee exclaims

"Better. You?"

"With the party tonight, I can't be more-"

"Oh shit!"

"Em? What happened?"

"Yeah, Actually I totally forgot to bring a dress"

"Fuck Em, where's your head at?" At Jason's, I shake my head at this thought, as if I did so it would magically disappear.

"I really don't know. God, what am I supposed to wear now?"

"Can't you go back?"

"No, that will take long!"

"I can bring you a dress!"

"Thanks Hailz, but I know your wardrobe!"

"Shame on you Em! Anyways I was coming to get you, so I'll just come with a dress and we'll prepare ourselves in there"

"What, you mean here in Jason's house?"

"No, in a public bathroom, Like seriously Em, what the hell has happened to you?" Jason happened "Or is it the accident?" My thoughts are so focused on Jason that I couldn't hear what she said next.

"Uh, What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about your stupidity Em"

"Seriously, is this the time to make bad jokes?"

"Well guess what's the funny part!"

"What?"

"I'm not even joking" I burst into laughter "Anyway I'll be there in an hour let me find you a dress first"

"Hailz?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you" I can feel her smiling

"What are best friends for!"
