Under the watch of her father — a reformed Death Eater, black—haired and not smiling Lilium is enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where her skills and her fears are put to the test. The girl first resists making any and all relationships, but soon finds herself with three inseparable friends to embark on a years—long journey to discover the secrets of her birth, decide who she's allowed to love, and forge her own identity.

NOTES!

i can't believe i'm finally writing this story. the idea for this character has sort of been in my head since about 2019, and i'm so excited to introduce her story to you. also, i've stuffed this baby full of all my favorite tropes so you can this to look forward to: enemies to lovers/academic rivals to lovers, character corruption, grumpy falls for sunshine, fake dating, found family, touch starved, semi—slow burn, coming of age, etc etc.

i hope that you trust me with these characters, even the ones you wouldn't typically like in canon. this story is all about redemption and found family as i explore lilium's place in the wizarding world. that being said, i will be trying to hold true to their characters in that snape will still start off as a DICK and draco will still start off as a bully, but i can't wait to explore their growth in this story. let's gooooooo
