From what I learned in season 4 is that Ladybug/Marinette was being too secretive to her partner and it was hurting him too much. I know how it feels to be left out like no one wants you or that they just use you for something they can't do. I mean the heroes are still kids and they got alot more growing up to do until they are ready to face Monarch. My sensei once taught me that being children means we aren't strong enough to fight a grown adult and he was right. There will come a time until Ladybug finally learns what it means to love someone, whether they are different people. And Cat Noir to finally let go of her and move on to someone else to love rather than waste time if someone doesn't love him back.

The next day, Cat Noir knew that his lady is really hiding something from him and never talked to him about anything other than lying and distancing him. She's just like his father that never talks to him about anything other than giving him emotional abuse.

He spots an akumatized basketball player using his basketball weapon to touch victims to disappear so that he can be the top basketball player. The feline saw Ladybug and the team arriving into action again but he was not gonna let them save the day this time.

Just as Purple Tigress was gonna grab the akumatized ball, Cat Noir zips in to grab it. He punctured it with his claws, deflated the ball and the Akuma came out. He growled at the team.

"Cat Noir?!" Purple Tigress gasps.

"So once again it's teamwork without me!" Cat Noir approached them.

"Whoa, why that attitude?" Purple Tigress got nervous.

"Isn't it obvious? Since I've been left out, I've dismembered my partnership with your leader" Cat Noir replied menacingly.

"For god's sake! Cat Noir, you're being very selfish and a total jerk!" Ladybug said and caught the Akuma with her yo-yo.

"I'm not the one being a selfish jerk! You've kept secrets from me and distanced away with the team" Cat Noir crossed his arms.

"You think this is about you?!" Ladybug yelled.

"We were supposed to be partners! And this is the thanks I get? You haven't called on me these last few weeks!" Cat Noir approaches her, "Who was there for you? Who was there to save your life? Who always breaks an akumatized object for you? Who sacrificed a lot for you?" He asked.

"You did" Ladybug replied fearfully.

"Exactly! You need me on the team! There are a lot of consequences" Cat Noir said.

"You think you know consequences?!" Ladybug shouted.

"Yes, I do! All you think about is whether Shadow Moth will show up but it's been 4 months since he hasn't shown his face! I tried so hard for you to simmer down but you constantly go overboard! Milady, this isn't Paris anymore! Shadow Moth preys on negative emotions and I've seen you get irresponsible! Remember Anti-bug? Prime Queen? Santa Claws? Miracle Queen? Glaciator? You don't care about anyone but yourself!" Cat Noir was getting pissed at her for not being responsible for how people feel and Shadow Moth always preys on negative emotions.

Ladybug was taken back by his rant about all the times she messed up, "Yes, I do remember"

"Truth to be told you're not worth it! Take your team and go! I've realized my feelings for you were in vain!" He pushed her down.

"How dare you!" Ladybug gets up and tackled the savage feline. It was now a cat fight while Polymouse, Purple Tigress, Rooster Bold, and Caprikid watched.

"All of this fighting together for nothing!" Cat Noir punches at Ladybug.

"Agh! I have responsibilities as guardian!" Ladybug did her trademark move to pin him down, "Simmer down!"

Cat Noir groans as he struggled, "I'm tired of you keeping me in the dark like I'm some street cat!" He yelled and bit her hand.

"YEOW!" Ladybug lost her grip and Cat Noir stood up pulling her arm.

"Tell me the truth, Ladybug! Am I not good enough?!" He demanded the truth.

"AAAAARGH!!!" Ladybug screamed as he kicked up a notch.

"TELL ME!" He shouted.

The team restrained him from going savage against Ladybug.

"STOP! You're killing her!" Polymouse begged.

"What's gotten into you?!" Purple Tigress asked.

Instead of answering, he pushed them off and leaves by running and jumping to the roof.

Ladybug sat up, her left arm dislocated, "This is all my fault" She cried in pain.

Purple Tigress steadies Ladybug's dislocated arm and pops it back to normal, "ACK!"

"There. Did he really mean all of it?" Purple Tigress asked Ladybug.

"Did you really leave him out of the team?" Polymouse wondered.

"I was trying to protect him from something terrible!" Ladybug said.

"You can protect him physically but you can't protect him from what hurts the most and that's isolation and loneliness," Caprikid said.

"And I've failed. He was right all along, I'm no guardian. He's clearly exposed for an akuma any second now!" Ladybug broke down.

Cat Noir was beyond angry to ever trust Ladybug because her guardianship changed her and it tore their friendship, "Forget Ladybug, she's nothing but a burden now!" He ran faster on the rooftops.

He didn't expect an akuma following him that it senses his rage and sadness, "So much rage and hatred" Shadow Moth said as the akuma follows Cat Noir.

It soon caught him and he strains to resist, "No! Not now!" He groaned.

"Cat Blanc, are you tired of Ladybug bullying you to stay out of it? I'm giving you the power of unlimited destruction!" Shadow Moth trying to make him obey.

"No one gives me orders, old man! I am not gonna be one of your puppets! Aaaaggggghhhhh!" Cat Noir broke the communication and transformed into Cat Blanc.

"Impossible!" Shadow Moth was shocked.

"Prepare for your doom, Ladybug!" Cat Blanc snarled.

There were three people he wanted to go after; Ladybug, Shadow Moth, and his father. So he headed for the Agreste mansion, ready to destroy his father.

In the meantime, Marinette was in a state of depression for failing Cat Noir. Not even the kwamis could cheer her up. He was right that she's not being responsible with learning self-control like the time she got overboard with Lila lying to Adrien, getting frustrated with Nadja at the TV Station about her love for Cat Noir, accusing Santa Claus on Christmas Eve for being akumatized, and losing her temper by throwing Cat Noir in the trash bin. Cat Noir was never like this because he has a lot of humor than a big temper, until now.

"Maybe it's time I'll pass my miraculous to someone more responsible" She reaches for her earrings.

"Are you seriously gonna renounce me?" Tikki got shocked.

"I'm no hero Tikki, I'm Ladybug no more," Marinette said.

"Don't you dare! If you do that, your memories will get erased! No one is like you, Marinette. Not even Scarabella" Tikki said.

"I've failed Tikki, and everyone saw what happened! I've done more harm than good. Cat Noir hates me now! I'm such an idiot!" Marinette breaks down in tears.

Her phone beeps that there is an emergency going on and as she looked on her phone, Nadja is reporting a strange white cat heading straight to the Agreste mansion, "No! Cat Blanc! In that case one more time. Tikki spots on!" Marinette transformed.

Cat Blanc smashed through his bedroom window, landing in a crouching pose, growling savagely at the rage he feels that his father is nothing but a bad man that likes respect. He walks up to the door and burst the door down with his mega cataclysm.

"Now where's Mr. Agreste" He looks around and saw his bodyguard coming at him, the white feline grabs him and turns him into a cat.

"Meow?" The transformed cat meowed.

"Stay down gorilla kitty" Cat Blanc sneered and searched for Gabriel.

Just as he was about head downstairs, he got hit by the golf club and fell down the stairs.

"You've picked the wrong house!" Nathalie said and comes downstairs to see if the feline is injured.

The feline hissed and kicks the weapon out of her hands, standing up with a cold glare, "I'm not dumb. You're gonna tell me where Gabriel is or you'll be one of my feline children"

"Never! You're not having him!" Nathalie refused.

"Too much loyalty! How pathetic! Loyalty is a waste of time!" He blast the office door with his mega cataclysm, "Greetings Gabriel Agreste, I am Cat Blanc" He approached him.

"What have you done to my son?!" Gabriel demanded.

"Hmph! What a coward you are! You barely pay any attention to him! I'll make sure his father knows the meaning of respect!" Cat Blanc yowled and tries to kill him with his mega cataclysm.

"Get away from him!" Nathalie tried to stop him but Cat Blanc touched her head and she got turned into a white cat, "Now where were we?" Blanc turns back to him, "Ah yes, prepare for your destruction! Cataclysm!" Cat Blanc charged a cataclysm.

"Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouted.

"Cat Noir is gone, I destroyed him. I'm Cat Blanc" Cat Blanc turns around to see her.

"You're still the black cat on the inside, kitty!" Ladybug swings her yo-yo.

"You don't stand a chance against me! Say goodbye, ex-partner!" Cat Blanc charged a cataclysm, "CATACLYSM!" He throws it at her but missed.

"Why are you full of hatred?" Ladybug asked.

"You did this to me! There's no room for love in my heart! And I'm gonna enjoy making you suffer!" Cat Blanc replied.

"You'll destroy everything with those destructive powers!" Ladybug tries to warn him, remembering the deleted timeline the moon got destroyed, resulting in flooding.

"You destroyed my heart, milady! You'll learn what it's like to feel broken!" Cat Noir chased her.

"Stop this madness!" Ladybug ran.

The feline villain ran on all fours like a cat, chasing Ladybug. Not caring if he'll torture her but the pain and misery corrupted him too much.

"I have to do something!" Ladybug thought while running.
