I am a murderer.
I have killed a girl.
A girl with hopeful eyes.
A girl with big dreams.
Someone who wanted something more than what the world had planned.
She always had a smile on her face,
Was loved by all of her peers,
And had friends who cared for her.
She was inspired.
A true artist,
Using the world as her canvas.
But now she looks in the mirror
And can't see the real her.
Instead,
A girl with darker eyes,
Filled with dread and fake smiles stares back at her.
She can no longer see the person who could believe in things and others.
Because now that girl is dead.
I am a murderer.
And I have killed the girl I used to be.
