i'm blurring out of reality
similar to a ghost
and anytime i'm out with friends
i'm like a parasite to a host

i'm only acknowledged because of the friendships i hold
without them it's like people have blindfolds
ignoring me like somebody underneath
leaving me feeling incomplete

no one cares unless you know someone
no one sees unless you mean something
no one hears unless you are someone

i used to think i mattered
but now i see their pattern
they've only ever looked through me
or maybe at me
but no one ever really sees me
