At the sound of birds chirping, shining light of the sun and an irritating sound of alarm, Lia wakes up. She sits up and yawns while stretching her arms...

"Noo, I have college today. What time is it?" she looks at her phone and sees it's 7 o'clock and her college starts at 9.

She lazily drags her body towards the bathroom.

After having a shower and getting ready, she packs her bag.

She goes downstairs and sees her dad reading a newspaper and her mom making breakfast.

"Good morning mom, good morning dad." She greets them with her usual sweet and cheerful voice.

"Good morning princess."
"Good morning dear." Her dad and mom says in unison.

But all of a sudden Lia notices something, her dad isn't wearing his office attire.

Isn't he going to office today? But today is Monday.

So she decides to ask him and when she opens her mouth to ask him, her mom calls her from dining room...

"Lia, come and have breakfast."

Lia goes to the dining room along with her dad, she sees that there is only her and her mom's breakfast but there is no breakfast for her dad...

"Honey, where is my breakfast?" her dad asks her mom.

Her mom starts eating "go and make it yourself."

By now Lia already understands what happened, probably those little arguments between her parents.

"Did you guys argue again?" She asks as she looks at both of her parents.

"Umm y-yeah." Her dad says and looks down.

"And what happened this time?" she raises her eyebrows and looks at her mom for an answer.

"Ask your dad." The only thing says her mom while eating, not even looking at Lia.

Lia sighs and looks at her dad...

"Come with me." he says.

Then he drags her towards the living room and starts talking in a low voice "Listen, today when I was getting ready she was sulking then I asked her what happened. She told me to not go to office today, I told her that I have to. Then she told me that I never understand her, that I always think about office and not about her. So now I decided to not go to office but still she is angry."

Lia chuckles at her dad "You guys are still like teenagers."

Lia's dad frowns his eyebrows "Lia, I told you all of those so that you can give a solution not to make fun out of it." He whines

"Ok,ok calm down. What about you take her on a date? Mom loves going on dates with you." she raises an eyebrow.

Her dad nods in agreement "hmm, this is a good idea. Thank you so much my daughter. Wait here, I'm going to ask your mom now and don't come in the dining room until I tell  you to okay?"

"Why dad? Why can't I come?"

"Do you think your mom will say 'yes' if you are in front of us?"

"Oh that's true. She won't say 'yes' if I'm there."

"So I'm going now." Then her dad does a little run towards the dining room.

After a while he comes back with a big smile plastered on his face which means now everything is okay. They have another family time in the breakfast time just like every morning. Lia decides to walk to the college today.

Lia enters the college gate, college is like a hell to Lia. She gets bored and she doesn't have any friends here. She does have some online friends but in real life 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐣𝐨𝐨𝐧 is her only friend.

Lia's life in high school was pretty good but as time goes by she understood those high school friends were just using her because she is rich.

So now she has trust issues while making friends but about Namjoon she thinks different.

I don't think he is gonna hurt me or use me like others. She smiles when she remembers his smiley face.

𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨...

Just after the college ended, it started raining and now Lia is standing near the gate with a book over her head. People are running to find a place to stand where they won't get drenched. But there is no place like this.

She doesn't call her parents, they are probably in a resturant right now as her dad said that he wanted to take her mom in a lunch date. She doesn't want to disturb their moment.

But I don't even have an umbrella with me. What am I gonna do now? She looks around to spot a texi, but doesn't find any.

But then she sees...

𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐣𝐨𝐨𝐧 telling her to get in the car.

𝘼 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙤...

Namjoon comes out of the university and sees that it's raining.

He takes out the car keys and gets in as soon as possible and starts driving fastly.

He promised Yumi that he is gonna pick her up after her college finishes...

Why it's raining now? She must be getting drenched by now.

In the college Yumi goes is 10 minutes far away from Lia's college.

So while driving he suddenly sees Lia near her college gate...

What is she doing here? Oh right she also goes to college. Should I drop her home? It looks like there is no one to pick her up. But I need to pick up Yumi. But then if I don't drop Lia, it will look disrespectful, as a friend I should help her.

After thinking for a while he opens the car window...

"Lia, come in. You are getting drenched by the rain."

Lia zones out for a while after seeing Namjoon but then again Namjoon calls her...

"Lia, come in. I'll drop you."

She gets in the passenger seat and puts on the car belt.

"Where are your parents Lia?"

"Oh, actually-" her words cuts off by the ringing on Namjoon's phone.

He looks at the phone and sees it's Yumi calling him. He doesn't answer the call, because Lia is here.

"Who is that?"

He gets a little nervous and it's the first time Lia is seeing him being nervous "Oh, it's no one." But then again his phone rings.

"Namjoon, it must be something important. Answer it."

But he gets more nervous and he also started feeling guilty 'cause he is making Yumi wait.

Lia notices all the nervousness "Namjoon who is that?" but he doesn't say anything.

"Namjoon, it's okay. You can tell me, I won't tell anyone." She started getting curious about the person that is calling.

"Umm, actually it's my girlfriend. Please don't tell anyone 'cause no one knows it."

Lia gets surprised "Y-you have a girlfriend?"

"Yes actually."

"O-oh okay. I think you should answer it then."

He smiles brightly at Lia and that made her heart skip a beat again.

Somehow she feels hurt after knowing that he has a girlfriend.

Why does it hurt? It's not like I have feelings for him. She thinks and looks out of the window when he answers Yumi's call.

Lia can hear Namjoon talking to his girlfriend sweetly and that is making her feel like tears are gonna come out of her eyes soon.

𝙊𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙...

Just like everyday Yumi woke up, freshen up and made breakfast for her parents. Her parents came downstairs...

As soon as she saw her parents, she brought the breakfast on the table.

Her dad took a bite but then he spitted it out. He got up and went towards Yumi and slapped her.

"YA! IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL BREAKFAST?" He shouted at her.

"W-why d-dad?" She said while looking down at her feet.

He again slapped her with all his force "How dare you ask me why? Huh?"

Then her mom came and pushed her making her stamble back "Such an useless I gave birth to. Can't even cook properly. GO AWAY! I don't wanna see this useless face of yours."

Tears were falling from her bright eyes, while she was going in her room. After she went in her room, she locked the door.

She packed her bag, she was seeing everything blurry because of the tears. But then she remembers...

𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐣𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞. 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Without eating anything, she got out of the house hurriedly 'cause of the excitment of meeting him.

𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙...

Yumi came out and saw that it's raining. She didn't have an umbrella so she took out a note book and started waiting for him.

He wasn't coming and it was getting late.

Where is he? Why isn't he coming? It's getting late and if I don't go home at time mom is gonna kill me surely. She was looking around again and again but there wasn't any sign of him.

After waiting for a while she called him, but he was cutting the call.

Why is he cutting the call?

She again called him but still he wasn't answering. But then he finally answered...

"Love where are you?" She asked him and the sound of heavy rain could be heared by Namjoon.

"Love, are you still waiting? I'm so sorry I can't pick you up today. I have to drop home a friend. I guess it's better if you go home now. Don't stay there okay?"

Yumi felt hurt but still she said "Oh okay."

Then they cutted the call. Yumi felt a little hurt that, atleast he could've called her before to let her know.

She came home all drenched by the rain, when she entered the living room she saw her furious mom waiting with a stick in her hand. Yumi already knew what was gonna happen...

"Mom I-"

"Where were you?" Her mom said while glaring at her.

"I h-had e-extra c-class. That's w-why I'm l-late. I'm s-" Her words cutted off when her mom pushed her making her fall on the cold floor.

And started beating her with the stick that was on her hand "DO YOU THINK THOSE STUDY EXCUSES CAN SAVE YOU FROM CHORES? HUH? I KNOW YOU VERY WELL, YOU PROBABLY CAME HOME LATE SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO COOK LUNCH FOR US" She yelled at Yumi who was already freezing and crying.

Her mom beated her for an hour and after that she made her cook lunch for them forcefully.

𝘼𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙖'𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢...

No, I can't. I can't love Namjoon. He has a girlfriend and it's been only three days that we met. No I can't. But this stupid heart of mine beats at the thought of him.

Thinks Lia while crying under the blanket meanwhile it's raining outside.

𝙄𝙣 𝙔𝙪𝙢𝙞'𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢...

Why? Why do I have this kind of parents? What did I do wrong god? Why can't they love me a little?

Thinks Yumi while looking at the sky which is also crying with her now.
