Rohit sighed a second time in the last thirty minutes as he saw Roohi moving around the kitchen taking things and then putting it back, then again taking it out repeating the cycle repeatedly. He can't believe that he was just made to sit here. Why on earth did he wake up at 5 am in the morning in the first place. Then why did he decide to help her when he has not even boiled the water yet. He felt like plucking his hair out when he found her again putting the thing she had taken out. Being irritated he just asked her- "plan kya hai Roohi."( What is the plan Roohi)

In return he just got an incrudile look making him wonder.

Roohi looked back at what she was doing while answering him back- "Khana bana rahi hoon Rohit, agar app chahte ho toh wapis ja sakte ho, mujhe is wakt uthne ki adat hai."

(I am making food Rohit, if you want you can go back, I have a habit of waking up at this time.)To say she was lying would be the truth. She always had severe issues of nightmares but she just didn't know how to say that to anyone nor did she want Rohit to judge her. Somewhere she knew he wont judge her but she just stopped trusting her heart a long time back.Roohi turned around with a couple of things with her when she collided with Rohit who came to get an actual glance of what she was doing. The moment they crashed both Roohi and the things were going to fall but soon found herself stable in Rohit's arms.

Uff by God if your stupid little pea sized brain was not enough now this items were also between me his cute heart.

Mocked her heart making her sigh. Roohi could neither understand or make her heart understand something so it's better to move away from the topic and even from the Eiffel tower standing in front of her. She looked back at Rohit and found him already looking for her. Both the parties felt themselves getting lost in the strange serenity they are finding in each others arms. That was when Rohit saw a small part of her hair on her face away from her bundle of fragrance.He slowly leaned in hitching her breath, and removed her hair still looking into her eyes before leaning down and leaving a kiss at her forehead. Roohi closed her eyes at that action, neither did she stop his this action nor did he stopped himself. It was a subconscious move from both the parties. She gently opened her eyes and looked back at him when he gently caught her chin and pulled up towards him. They were lost in that moment when suddenly they realized their position and backed away from each other. Rohit looked back at Roohi after a second only to see her looking anywhere but him. He sighed before sitting back on the kitchen platform.Rohit - "Roohi" , he called out for her making her look at him.

Rohit continues- " Tumhe khana nahi banana, it's 5: 45 now"

( Don't you want to make food Roohi, it's already 5:45 now.)

At first the words were hazy but as soon as she registered what he said she quickly looked back at the clock before shifting her attention towards cooking. Cooking was her stress buster and it was also a gateway to many memories she had spent with her Matashree in the kitchen. She started cooking along with hurling words to the person because of whom she was late.

" Oh god you stupid brainless and idiotic person, couldn't you have told me before, I wouldn't have this late, ab kya ab toh sab kuch jaldi karna hoga. Oh god tumhara zaban hai ya key chain Jo bich me atak gayi thi, nahi aaj tum mujhe batahi do , what were you exactly thinking jab tum maun vrat par chale gaye the ha. Kya hua law padte padte tumhe Gandhiji key teen bandar itne pasand agaye key tum chauthe banne chale, nahi nahi ek lathi chasma aur ganja karlo khud ko to phir bandar kya tum khud Gandhi Ji lagoge. Oh god mere pass toh ab bolne key liye gaali tak nahi bachi."

(Oh god you stupid brainless and idiotic person, couldn't you have told me before, i wouldn't have this late, now I have to do everything super fast. Oh god is it your tongue or keychain that it got stuck in between, no today you just tell me, what were you exactly thinking when you were maintaining silence. What happens while studying law did you like Gandhiji's three monkeys so much that you are trying to be fourth, no no just take a stick, spectacles and bald your hair you would look like him. Oh god I don't even have any swears left to say.")Rohit all the while had a look of amusement etched on his face. He never knew she was so talkative and easy going purpose. He realized that in a way she was just like him. He was happy at that fact and he was so looking forward to it.

And just like that Roohi cooked not even realizing her behavior with Rohit and he in turn listened to her with all the peace in the world.

Roohi was confident enough that her moong halwa would be fine if not good. She was no chef but she could always cook for survival. Her face surely did show her confidence as she made her way towards the dining table. And she was proven right when her in-laws liked it when they had it after finishing their breakfast. She was confident all the while when it was her in-laws or her husband's elder brother, his twin and his younger sister but when it came to her husband she didn't even know why on the earth she turned nervous.

Armaan her elder brother in law and Rohit's twin brother looked at her expression and a teasing look crossed his face. He had been Roohi's friend from eight standard and had enough liberty not to tease her. His brother was hostel at that time and never got a chance to meet her before her marriage but Roohi was always a member of Poddar family from the beginning and that was the reason their parents were so eager to marry them off. It would have been him but he already loves a girl so he was not on the radar and therefore it was Rohit who got married to her. He smirked before starting his teasing session.

Armaan- "Adhvik bhaiya(Armaan and Rohit's elder brother and Shweta's husband) kya apko nahi lagta key hamari bhabhi ji kuch zyada hi nervous lag rahi hai."

(Brother Adhvik, don't you think our sister-in-law is looking so nervous today.)

At times like this the sibling thinking always matched and so did Armaan's and Adhvik's.Adhvik- "Sahi keh raha hai tu Aru, hai na chote(Rohit) Bhabhiji to bohot nervous lag rahi hai, are app tension na lo Bhabhiji hamara Rohit itna bura bhi nahi hai wo apko kha nahi jayega."(You are right Aru, isn't it chote( a term for younger brother), sister-in-law is looking so nervous today, don't worry our brother is not that bad to eat you.)

Seeing her brother having fun how could Anjali the youngest Poddar stay quiet. And she had been a little sister to Roohi for enough time now and sisters are supposed to tease each other if not they would be shame on the name of siblings.

Anjali-"ha na bhaiya, Rohit bhai ab app kha bhi lijiye warna hamari bhabhi ese hi ghabrati jayegi, phir wo Gorilla Goenka kahega ki are bhai ek hi din hua hai hamari behen yaha rahe hua aur apne uska itna bura haal kardiya"(Yes brother Rohit at least eat now or else sister-in-law will worry just like that and that Gorilla Goenka will say that it's been only one day that my sister was here and you had already made her worry this much.)

Rohit and Roohi were totally embarrassed which was seen by Shweta (Adhvik's wife). She knew her husband and both his brother and sister were going to continue to torture them again. In a way her husband was just getting back at them. Both Rohit and Armaan were way worse brats back when she was married. Anjali was small back so she was fine but both Aru and Chote were seriously pain in the wrong place. But she very certainly can't afford to put a poor girl in between so she intervened. 

Shweta-"Ma, zara batana apne bandaroon ko ki khate waqt baat karne wale logon key saath kya hota hai." Shweta said to Deepti Poddar the matriarch and the woman of the house in reprimanding tone glaring at the three musketeers silencing them in a minute. That is the power of Shweta Adhvik Poddar, her words were law to all three kids and her husband respected her enough to go against her especially when she is always siding his family. And not to mention the pampered princess and the eldest daughter of Poddar and Roohi' s sounding board.

Both Roohi and Rohit looked at her with a look of gratitude to which she silently nodded passing a smile to them before going back to her halwa. Rohit looked back at his bowl and then towards Roohi who still looked little nervous standing beside him. He slowly squeezed her hand below the table before having the food from the other hand. The moment the halwa touched his taste buds erupted in happiness. He had a very bad habit of hating healthy food and the only person who could control it was his mother, she cooked healthy food in a very tasty manner that would make him automatically driven towards it. But for a change he like this one.

He looked back at her and just smiled making her relaxed. Both of them did not realized the fact that they were slowly understanding each other's silence. The whole of the Poddar family then had the dessert in peace with lots of bickering and love .

After the breakfast was finished and all had dispersed to either their rooms or their work and collage, Roohi found herself outside her now mother- in- law Deepti Poddar's room. She just banged the door open with no care in the world making the eldest couple smile.Neither of the party had any problem with her action because that was how she always entered their room. They have known the girl from the time she was a teen. And for Roohi, Deepti was a mother figure in her life who scolded her when needed but also stood for when she needed anyone. Whereas Dinesh Poddar was her cool savior who saved her when either Deepti or Adhvik scolded her.

Adhvik just acts but was the biggest Hitler of the household who would not hesitate to whack anyone of them to toe the line but at the same time he was a big time softie too.

Roohi cleared her throat to gain the attention and to remove the momentary thinking spree everyone was in before sitting beside the arm chair where Deepti sat and laying her head in her lap. Deepti's hands immediately found Roohi's scalp making her sigh in peace. Her beautiful aunty had a great hands.

Roohi- Apko pata hai beauty girl apke haathon main na jadoo hai jadoo

(You know beauty girl, your hands have a magic)

Deepti- Chup kar badmash, kitna makhan lagati hai tu huh.

( Shut up you naughty girl, how much will you butter me up.)

Roohi- Are par yeh kya zid hui aunty ha ap- ouch- mara kyun

( But what stubbornness is that aunty how can you- ouch- why did you beat me huh)

Deepti- Aunty buddhu Ma bol samjhi, main arsoon say wait kar Rahi hoo ki to mujhe kab Ma karkar pukaragi, ab jab hak hai toh mujhe sirf janana nahi par batana bhi hai sabhi ko ki tu meri beti hai.

( Call me Ma not aunty you stupid, I have waited for years to hear that from you now that I have the right to I want to not know but to tell you that you are my daughter.)

Dinesh- " Aur main Baba", he chirped in. He knows his wife hates it when someone speaks in between but he cared less. He gave a sheepish smile when he actually saw his wife glaring at him.

Roohi smiled. She always love how even this many years one can see the love radiating from them. That is how she had always envisioned her love life, one thing she always told ...

Roohi snapped from her thoughts as she felt a hit on her hand, so her beauty girl is gone and Hitler aunty is back. How mean.

Roohi pouting- "Kya hai apka au( changed seeing her glare) I mean ma ha ma kya hai, apne bataya nahi key aj slap day celebration hai ( rushing towards Dinesh and sitting beside him) Un- nahi nahi Baba ha baba, apne bhi nahi bataya mujhe ki ajj slap day hai us chachundar Poddar ( Armaan) ko do char de nahi deti, waise bhi kya khak tang nahi karta wo mujhe, wapas to Dena padega na. Hai ki nai aur ma- "

( What is your problem au- (changed seeing her glare)I mean ma yes ma, you didn't tell me that today is slap day celebration, ( rushing towards Dinesh and sitting beside him)un- no I mean Baba, even you didn't tell me about the slap day or else I would have given some does to even that chachundar ( Mole) Poddar ( Armaan), anyways even he disturbs me a lot. Isn't it ma-)

Deepti- " Roohi, Roohi beta tuje kuch bhi nahi hua beta, shant hoja bus relax hmm" Deepti chided Roohi being done with her drama queen like daughter making Roohi pout. Taking a deep breath she called her again. Roohi went back to her previous position but kept silent showing that she is sulking for being scolded for no reason according to her.

Deepti caressing her face slightly- " Roohi, naraz hai mujhse(Roohi cutely nodded keeping her still in Deepti's lap) are par mai kya karti mujhe tujhe kuch batana hai aur tu hai ki bak bak( seeing her glaring at her Deepti changed her words) baate kiye ja rahi hai

(Roohi are you angry with me (Roohi cutely nodded keeping her still in Deepti's lap) but I wanted to say something and you were constantly interrupting me, so you say what should I do)

Roohi thinking deeply replied to her back- "Acha theek kar liye apko maaf, vaise bhi app kya yaad rakhoge kis dilwale say apka pala pada hai" Roohi completed her statement with a cute smile.

( Ok ok I forgave you, anyways you would not remember this girl with a big heart so it's ok)

Shaking her head Deepti came to the topic- " Ajj pagphera hai na beta aur bhai sahib ka call aya tha yeh kehke ki ajj raat tu wahi ruk ja woh bhi tujhe bohot Miss kar rahe hai to tum dono wahi ruk kar aavo unko bhi acha lagega aur tum dono ko unke sath wakt bhi mil jayega"

( Today is pagphera, and brother had called telling us to make you stay there for tonight so go along with Rohit and you both stay there. This way both the parties will get some time together)

Roohi slowly nodded her head grasping the words. She was actually missing her brother there and it would be worth it.Dinesh concerned- "Agar tujhe koi problem nahi hai toh hi beta hum mana kar lenge." ( It's ok if you have any problem Roohi, we will manage.)

Roohi- " Nahi nahi Baba main javungi, ruko main Rohit say bhi puch leti hoon ki woh free hai ki nahi warna khud chali javungi." Saying so Roohi just ran off to his ops, their room.

( No no I am going but let me ask Rohit first if he is free or I will go myself.)

Roohi ran off to their room but instead of knocking it she just crashed on the door by mistakenly hurting her nose in process.

Roohi- "Oh bete ki you tum door ko Iron man jo itne zor say lagate ho, hai mere jaan se pyaari naak, kardi na isko kharab ruko main na tumhe chodungi nahi (saying so she kicked on the door but it sting her more instead) Oh maiye re maiye."

( Oh god, you door are you a door an Iron man that you hurt me this bad, oh my poor little nose, you hurt my nose wait I will show you, I won't leave you (saying so she kicked on the door but it sting her more instead) Oh god.)

That is when she heard Rohit's voice behind her. Roohi turned around and looked back at him only to see -

I know, I know it was a cliff hanger but kya karu ab rok dia hi hai toh next update baki ka padh lena.
