Drops of vexation, sadness and anger.
Primal constituents of closing off.

Deep within they come together to form a banal sea.
A sea that flows idly beneath a banal heart.

Each drop leaks from the heart with every storm.
And with every storm the sea wakes and rises.

Waves clash and collide into each other,
Forming a tide that tests the resistance of its vessel.

The barrier that was built to keep the world out,
And it's contents in.

For as long as it can, the walls hold up strong.
But it weakens as the sea climbs inch by inch.

Cracks soon appear here and there.
Endeavours to seal and foreclose outflow.

A brickle barrier, it can not withstand.
It falls as the sea brims over.

And so it shall be built again . . .
To relive it's anguish.
