She walks alone, down the streets and through crowds.
All she wants is to make those whom she loves proud.
No one understands her, no one ever does.
But she hopes they don't focus only on her flaws.

She wants to be left alone but not to feel alone;
Adrift in space yet surrounded by countless stars.
Though she keeps a straight face, a lot of things bear on her.
Like the expectations which seem close withal so far.

Her thoughts? Loud. Perhaps as loud as her colours.
Makes it apprehensible why she gets bemused by them.
Escaping realism boundlessly; a benefit she cherishes.
Where she can move from galaxy to galaxy without care.

Still, she sometimes wishes she wasn't so anxious and reserved.
But they are only qualities that make her who she is.
So, she admires the stars as they shimmer in the nights sky.
And hopes she'll someday be more than just a quiet soul.
