Calliope rejoined the group in the wedding tent, and Fred was immediatly at her side.

"Are you okay Callie? They didn't hurt you?"

"No they didn't," Calliope replied. "And they're not going to hurt any of you tonight," she turned to the rest of the group, before turning back to Fred, "but we're going to have to be incredibly careful. He wants me and he'll use you to get to me."

"What can we do?" Fred asked.

"Go into hiding," suggested Sirius, "that's the easiest way-"

"I need to keep going to the department of mysteries, I can't not go to work," said Calliope, deep in thought as she spoke, "and they know that there is no use in taking me by myself so really I'm in no danger..." she trailed off, her thoughts overtaking her for a moment. "I need to keep going to work, I need to know what the veil is telling me. But Fred needs to be safe, so let's move out of the joke shop and cast the flidalous charm on wherever we go-"

"Callie, I can't sit alone in a house all day whilst you're out there in danger," Fred protested.

"It's a good plan," Sirius agreed.

"Sirius, mate, you can't be backing her up on this!" Fred's arguments continued to fall on deaf ears as everyone listened intently to Calliope and Sirius' brains working.

"George should go too, they've already mistaken him for Fred once," Sirius said.

"Yes," Calliope nodded, "in all honesty I think it would be safest if we all moved into protected locations. And be sure that no one uses You-Know-Who's name, I have a bad feeling about it." 

The tent broke into murmers of people discussing Calliope's words. Fred was not happy about the idea of being cooped up in a house whilst Calliope went to the ministry-which would no doubt be fully under death eater control- but he said nothing as plans were made for the saftey of everyone there. He simply clung to Calliope's hand and wondered what exactly was going on in her mind as a severe feeling of anxiety washed to him over the bond. 

In the end it was decided that protective enchantments would be placed upon the Burrow, where Molly would remain with Ginny until it was time for her to return to school. Then Bill and Fleur would move to stay with Molly and keep up the facade of Ron's illness. 

Calliope, Fred and George were to move into Sirius' new house with him and the flidalus charm was to be placed upon the house with Sirius as secret keeper. Remus and Tonks' house would be placed under the same protection, with Remus as secret keeper. Elphias was made the secret keeper to his own house. This meant that those whom the Death Eaters may target to get to Calliope were all under protection in the homes. 

As these arrangements were being made, news trickled in about Death Eater attacks at every Order related house accross the country. Remus and Tonks hurried away to take care of Tonks' parents who had been subjected to the crutatus curse. 

The Death Eaters thoroughly searched the Burrow, still unconvinced that Harry was not hiding there, but again they found nothing. It was the early hours of the mornig when the Death Eaters finally left. 

Calliope, Fred and George decided to return to the flat to pack as many of their things as they could before going to Sirius' house for the charm to be cast. None of them spoke as they packed their belongings, but Calliope could tell that Fred was not particularly happy with the plan. 

When George was downstairs in the shop putting up a notice about it being closed for the forseeable future, Calliope finally spoke.

"I know you're not happy about this Fred," she said, "but it's the best way-"

"You don't need to go to work Callie, you can hear the whispers just fine from home," said Fred.

"I really don't know how to explain this to you," Calliope frowned, "when I'm around the veil it's less noisy, I can hear the important things and I can know them with more certainty. If I didn't think that I need to go there then I would stay at home with you. But it will help everyone if I go. I can help Fred and I won't sit and do nothing when I can help."

Fred sighed, but pulled her into his arms. They stood there, interlocked in a tight embrace until George returned.
