POV: Natsu

I watch Lucy leave and feel my heart breaking. Why was she acting like this? I wait in the guild hall for hours, drinking and thinking. I look up suddenly to see Gray looking over me.

"Natsu. That's not gonna help anything." He sits down across from me and all I can do is stare at me glass.

"I need her. Every time we head out lately, I'm worrying. I'm scared to death she's gonna zone out and get killed. " I whisper. Looking into the empty glass, was this Lucy? Did she feel empty?

" Natsu Lucy's a tough girl. She's just got something on her mind. Okay? Girls are tricky. She might need a few days off." Gray adds getting a beer. " go home and get some sleep."

I get up and nod, "Okay. See you tomorrow."

I walk out feeling my heart race, I get home and Happy sits up. Looking at me worried.

"Hey Natsu? I got us some food!" He smiles at me.

"I'm not very hungry right now Happy ." I mumble going to the couch. Happy flies over to me and looks me over.

"Natsu you didn't do this to Lucy. "

I glare at him, standing up. "You don't get it! None of you do! I want to protect her! I love her!" I scream knocking the coffee table over.

"Natsu calm down!" Happy yelps.

"No! Get out! Leave, I want to be let alone. You don't know anything. " I hiss.

He backs up looking hurt, I go to stop him, but he just flies out. Leaving me there in my empty apartment. I sink into the floor and cry. Steam seeps off my cheeks making them raw. I wanted her to be okay, I wanted Happy to understand.

I stand up, my legs shaking a bit and get a glass of water, I look down. My eyes puffy and my cheeks red.The glass suddenly breaks cutting into my skin. I ignore the slight pain and storm into my room. Burying myself in pillows.

I'm sorry Happy.

I'm sorry Lucy.

I'm trying to hold it together, you need me...

But I need you...

POV: Happy

I fly to Lucy's and Levy opens the door and I quickly fly to Lucy and cry.

"LUCY! Natsu he's upset and he yelled at me to leave." I grip her shirt and she slowly hugs me. "He's so cruel right now and I need you to talk to him!"

"Natsu." Is all she says looking down at me her pretty brown eyes dull and empty.

I shiver.

"Lucy?" I whisper.

"She's gotten worst Happy, I think it's a curse and I'm reading into it. She knows you. She knows the names, but it's like somethings slowing her thoughts and memories. Making her go blank." Levy pulls me off Lucy and hugs me.

"Happy." Lucy whispers looking over at the photos on her desk.

I just stare at Lucy. Who would do this....

"I'm so sorry Happy. If you need to stay here while Natsu blows so steam, I'm sure Lucy wouldn't mind." Levy cups my face pecking me on the forehead. "Things will get better... I know Lucy. She's tough."

I look to Lucy again.

Is she Tough enough?
