"Why are you here at this hour?" asked Ting Hao.

The person said nothing and stretched out her hand.

"What is it?" asked Ting Hao.

"Something you might need," she said.

Ting Hao took what she was giving him and closed his fist without even looking what it was.

As Ting Hao took it, the girl turned and was about to leave.

"You still want to hide?" asked Ting Hao.

"I don't want to... but I have to," she said without turning her face towards Ting Hao and went from there.

As she left, Ting Hao went back inside the house without making any noise.

Ting Hao opens his fist and it pen drive that the girl gave him.

He quickly takes his laptop and earphones out and inserted the pen drive inside the laptop.

There was a video in it. He quickly played the video.

At first, he was shocked but within seconds his expression changed into a mysterious smile.

He shuts down his laptop and went to sleep as if nothing happened.

The next day, as usual, Ting Hao was preparing breakfast but he didn't let Bai Cao do anything which made her irritated and angry

"Senior Ting Hao, let me help you with cooking. I really feel bored sitting doing nothing," said Bai Cao angrily.

"No, Bai Cao. I am not going to let you do anything."

"How cruel you are, Senior Ting Hao."

Ting Hao smirked and said, "I am cruel!? If you have forgotten, then let me remind you that when I was injured you didn't even let me enter the kitchen but I am letting you come inside. You were crueller, Bai Cao."

That's when Chang An came over there. He had a smile on his face looking at Bai Cao and Ting Hao fighting.

He went near them and asked, "Ting Hao, are you done cooking? We all are damn hungry."

Bai Cao grabbed Chang An by his arm and said, "Brother, you are hungry, right?"

Chang An nodded.

"Then ask this irritating guy to let me help him with cooking," said Bai Cao which made Chang An laugh he tried controlling it but failed.

Seeing him laughing, Ting Hao glared at him angrily.

"You are hungry. But the breakfast isn't ready yet. How about I give you something else?" said Ting Hao while showing Chang An his fist.

"Why are you getting mad at me? I am not the one who called you an irritating person. It was your little grass."

"Chang An, why don't you shut up and sit there quietly?"

"Fine," said Chang An and sat at the dining table.

After some time, Ting Hao finished cooking and everyone started eating.

While eating, they were planning to go somewhere to have fun. Everyone was suggesting a place where they can go but Ting Hao said nothing. He had a serious look on his face.

But when Ting Hao said something, it left everyone in shock.

"Let's file a case against Chen Zhou," said Ting Hao.

Hearing that, everyone stopped eating as they were shocked and looked at him.

"But we don't have any proof against him," said Bai Cao.

"Who said we don't have any proof?" said Ting Hao and turned his face towards Bai Cao.

In the afternoon. Everyone was sitting in the living room. It felt as if they were waiting for someone. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Bai Cao went and opened the door. It was no one else but Li Na (Bai Cao and Chang An's sister) and Shawn (the lawyer who fought their case against Feng Yun Hall earlier)

"Why did you suddenly call us, Chang An?" asked Li Na as she came inside.

"We want to file a case against Chen Zhou," said Chang An.

"Proof?" asked Shawn directly.

Ting Hao gave Shawn his laptop and showed him the video.

After watching the video, Shawn said, "This video is enough but I think we should collect more proof against him."

"I know that and I know how we can do that but the first step is to file a case against him."

Shawn nodded and said, "Okay then, let's go."

Ting Hao nodded and turned his face towards Chang An. "Chang An, you and Yi Feng must stay with everyone. I and Shawn will go to file the case."

"Okay," said Chang An.

Then Ting Hao and Shawn went to the court and came back home at night.

At night, everyone was waiting for Ting Hao and Shawn anxiously.

Bai Cao was worried thinking if something wrong would have happened as Ting Hao was not picking up anyone's calls.

That's when they heard the door unlocking.

It was Ting Hao.

Seeing him, Bai Cao ran toward him and said, "Why weren't you picking up anyone's calls?"

Ting Hao took his phone out and said, "Oh! I didn't know you all were calling me. My phone is on silent mode."

"Well, when is the hearing?" asked Chang An.

"The day after tomorrow and Chen Zhou will get the notice by tomorrow morning," replied Ting Hao.

"Why the day after tomorrow? Is it not an on-demand hearing?"

"No, it's not,"

"Why?"

"I have been asking him the same question but he is not saying a word regarding that," said Shawn.

Ting Hao smirked and went toward his room leaving everyone in shock.

The next day, everyone finished eating their breakfast when Ting Hao said, "Chen Zhou might have got the notice by now. He might come here anytime to threaten us. So be ready. Okay?"

Everyone nodded after hearing what Ting Hao said.

They were about to stand when they heard a car's noise.

They all looked out of the window and it was Chen Zhou's car.

"Let's go, guys," said Ting Hao and they all went outside.

As they reached outside, they saw Chen Zhou coming out of his car but he was not alone. Yin Xiu and Guang Ya were with him.

Chen Zhou went straight toward Ting Hao.

"What is this?" asked Chen Zhou while showing Ting Hao the notice he got from the court.

"A notice from the court. Don't tell me you came here just ask that," replied Ting Hao in a sarcastic way but with a cold look on his face.

"You know that you guys can't win against me,"

"Who said that?"

"So, you think you can?!"

"No. I know that I will win."

Chen Zhou smirked hearing that and said, "Well I don't think the same,"

"Doesn't matter," said Ting Hao without delay.

Chen Zhou anger was evident on his face now. It was clear that he want to kill Ting Hao right now.

"You guys have time till evening. Take back the case or else I will do something very unimaginable and you know that I will get out of it easily," said Chen Zhou.

Ting Hao smirked and said, "Do whatever you want. We won't back out."

"Fine. You have time till tomorrow morning. Change your decision or you don't know what I will do," said Chen Zhou and sat back inside his car.

They sat inside the car. Yin Xiu and Guang Ya were sitting in the back seat while Chen Zhou sat in the front.

"Yin Xiu, hire a sharpshooter. I know that they will never back out," said Chen Zhou.

"Okay," replied Yin Xiu.

Chen Zhou turned his gaze towards Guang Ya who was looking outside the window.

"Guang Ya, I am sorry but I have to do this."

"I don't care, Chen Zhou. Do whatever you want," said Guang Ya. She had a cold look on her face. No feelings or anything like that were visible on her face. She looked totally feelingless.

The Next Day

Everyone was getting ready to go toward the court.

"Be ready, guys. Anything can happen," said Ting Hao.

"No matter what, don't even dare to back out," said Chang An.

Everyone nodded after hearing them.

Then they all went towards the court.

As they reached the court and were about to enter.

They heard a gunshot.

They turned back and saw blood splatter on the ground.

They raised their gaze and saw Ting Hao bleeding.

Ting Hao was the one who got shot.
