Lash's pov
I slowly come to, my eyes barely opening as I look around and I see that I'm home. I smile and I try to sit up only for my arms to collapse and nightmare says," whoa, careful now, you've been out of it for a bit" I nod," right, the device, did someone destroy it?" He nods," Eggman gave you back your energy and smashed it to bits, said it was a cowards way to capture an enemy and sent you back with us, he'll want to talk to you now that your awake, can you move?" I nod and sit up. Nightmare sets up a computer and sets up a call and puts the camera where it can see me and Robotnik answers," good to see you finally awake, how are you feeling?" I chuckle," like a rhino stampeded all over me, but not really painful, just really sore." He nods," makes sense since you had your energy drained, at least your alive? I have no idea the progress made to kicking out X for doing such a cowardly thing." I nod," thank you for helping me out, you could've easily let me die by that earpiece, but you didn't... maybe there's some good left in you egghead."

He chuckles and says," maybe, but please do what you can to get rid of X, if there's any issues hit the Eggman button on your wrist comm, it'll send an emergency alert to me and it'll activate a tracker so I can find you, now gotta go." he hangs up and I ask nightmare," so why isn't he gone?" nightmare sighs," Sky wants to figure out his plan first, but don't take tech from him, we don't want this to happen again." I nod," agreed I really need to mind where I place my trust." Nightmare chuckles and nods." get some rest, your still pretty drained." I nod," ok, yeah, sounds good, make sure X doesn't mess with me." I lay back down and I let myself slip off into sleep.

X's pov

I know that they know, I'm not that dumb. I had all my supplies ready to move to a bigger lab anyhow. I just wanted to give them one last surprise gift before I reveal myself and become one of their rivals. I stand up and I carefully make a dinner that was flavorful enough to hide an extra ingredient inside. I call out," dinners ready everyone" they come down and fill up their plates and start eating, they know that I don't eat around them since its rather unsettling. So I just stood in the kitchen and waited. I didn't have to wait long until they fell asleep and I quickly lift them up and head for my bigger lab.
