I don't know how long I've been here. Everything hurts and I just want to leave. My back hurts 

Sky's pov

it's been a month since Lash disappeared. ever since she held back error I've seen her a bit differently. she took a blow that could have killed her but she made sure we got out first. I could only hope now to do the same for her. I looked ahead of me at a large metallic structure and the scanner Comic made going haywire, she's here, a energy slides into my own and a soft and dark voice slips into my head. So we're really saving the speed freak? how do we know that she needs to be saved "she's been gone for a month Midnight, besides your helping me too." I feel my fur change, yet I hold control. I launch over the the first gate, completely invisible. slipping past cameras silently and as I creep further into the compound I suddenly hear a girls scream. there's no way that wasn't her. I grab onto some wires in the wall and I focus, feeling midnight hand me control of the electricity inside and I blast it through the wires, causing a black out and the screaming stops. I slip into the darkness, running until I see a large robust man walk out a room screaming," why is the power out? I built the whole place to withstand that hedgehog's power." so she was here.

I slip past the man and I see her, collapsed, gasping and I could see a lot of quills missing from her back, she slowly looks up and says weakly," who's there? I can hear you" I let my invisibility fade and she seems tense and nervous. I ask midnight to step down and my fur goes back to normal and I say," it's ok, it's just me, sky." she relaxes and tries to stand up, winning in the end and I destroy the controls and the glass slides upward. she stumbles out and I catch her, only now seeing just how much is gone. Midnight says in my head," yeah.... she's not an informant, other words error would have pulled her out a long time ago. " I told you midnight, now lets get her out of here." as I start walking out I can feel Lash trying to walk with me and I let her, doing my best to support her weight. I let my tail slip in front of us and I let myself turn invisible, which cloaked her as well.

we slip out of the compound untouched and I walk us to a camp nearby I had set up and I help her lay down and she sighs in relief," Thank you Sky, how long was I gone?" " about a month, we were really worried about you, and it looks like we were right to be, what did that man do to you?" " call him Eggman or Robotnik, he doesn't care which, but I have the power to control lightning and I can make it sprout to certain quills to take the intense energy, he kept removing those quills, making me weaker and weaker with every surge. it's a good thing you got there when you did, the quills will take time to regrow but I'll be fine with time."

I nod," ok, you get some sleep, you need it, I'll send a beacon up to the Tornado to pick us up in the morning." she nods and closes her emerald green eyes and soon her breathing evens, showing that she was asleep. I smile softly and I pull a blanket over her.
