Lash's pov
It's been an eventless few weeks, sure tom didn't like the fact that I made friends with Robotnik but I managed to smooth it over by explaining how he saved my life. Life's been as good as it can be for now, we're building a house in the woods so no one would likely stumble upon it unless they got super lost. One day I was running through the woods when I heard a little girl crying. 

I stop and I look out from the bushes and I could see that the girl was about teen age and I carefully step out, noticing how bad they're shivering and I rush off, grab a blanket and I rush back and I carefully lay it over her and I ask," are you ok miss?" She shakes her head and says," I'm lost, my family left me here." I smile and I say," I can take you back to town, just follow my voice." I speed into the bushes and the girl stands and I call out," this way!" And she follows, I continue the process till we get to the edge of the forest in the direction of the police station and I say from the bushes," go to the station and ask for tom, he'll do his best to help." She turns to the bushes and asks," thank you for all of this, but what's your name? Who are you? I haven't even seen you." I smile and say," just think of me as a guardian angel, now go, go find a new life." She turns and walks toward the station and once she's inside I make a running leap onto the station roof and I look through a window that lead to toms office. 

I watch the girl go in and they talk for a few minutes and he looks up with a knowing look and I shrug back and they talk for a bit and he gently takes the blanket off her shoulders and I watch him head for the stairs with her right behind. I scramble to hide as tom comes out and calls," Lash, the girl wants to meet you." I sigh and I stand in front and she comes out and sees me and asks," you're the one who brought me here?" I nod with a smile and say," I'm Whiplash the Hedgehog, but just call me Lash." She smiles and she gives me a big hug and I smile and hug back. After a minute I pull away and I say," I hope you live a great life kid, you deserve it." She smiles and both of them go downstairs and into his cruiser and they drive off and I smile softly, hoping I did something good. 

I go back to where the others were building and sans asks," where did you go Lash? Could've used your help." I say calmly," I was helping a lost child in the forest, she needed help and I brought her to tom. She'll be fine now." Sans nods and says," got it, well can you help us place in the floors?" I nod and I scoop up some of the hardwood and I speedily get to work.
