Lash's pov

I was talking with sky about our options and I tell her what egghead had on the way tomorrow and she says," what if its another trick Lash?" my blood boiled but I hold in my cool," he risked his life, for me, somebody he used to hate. I can't believe that it's a trick Sky, right now its my last hope, Eggman won't survive another extraction, and neither will I. I have to hope." she nods," understandable, I shouldn't have said that, I realize that now, I guess we just have to wait and hope." I nod and I sit down, sighing and sky asks," what if help doesn't arrive tomorrow?" I sigh and say," try to free you guys before I die. I wouldn't want you to remember me like this." sky nods and lays down, going to sleep. I look at the tiny robot in my hand and I start fiddling with it until it pops out its laser and I tell it to disappear for now, and I do my best to sleep

the next day

I wake up before extraction time and Robotnik was sitting up and he points to the camera and I look over and I see something covering it and I smile as the thing punches the camera to nothingness and drops down and does the same with the glass in the cells and error rushes over to mine and he yells," Chaos Spear!" and the glass is blasted out. I grab Robotnik as he tries to stand and his legs give out and I say," just hang onto me egghead, I'll get you out of here." the others follow the echidna and I ask," who are you stranger? I'm Lash, fastest hedgehog around." " when I'm not around!" error pipes up and the echidna laughs saying," I'm Fell, now come on, we don't have long." I nod and follow Fell. He leads us to a vent and he punches the grate with his spiked fist, and he pulls Eggman through who starts climbing. Fell climbs behind him and I follow, nightmare behind and from there we slip in and fell guides Robotnik to a grate that he says that there's sunlight behind it as I hear him shoving at the grate until light filters through the vent and I hurry through, stepping out into light and I smile, happy to have finally gotten out. the others climb out and Robotnik hits a button on his bracelet and his egg mobile arrives and we hop on, fell pulling me inside and Eggman takes off, flying away from the torturous lab. he takes us to his base and he says," we need to leave Mobius, now. 

the reason he was draining your energy was to power a portal that'll rip this planet to pieces, and he'll be able to compensate the lost power." I say," well if we had a ring then we can leave now and never return." Eggman nods and holds out my bag stuffed full of rings. I grab them and I focus on green hills and I throw it, we step through it and my exhaustion finally fully took hold and I almost collapse but nightmare catches me softly and asks," where do we even go? we're in the middle of the woods." I point toward a small tattered brown piece of cloth above a cave," there, we can rest for now and regain some strength, I can't walk very far, so I teleported us to my old home." they nod and climb into the cave and I pass out, too tired to stay awake.
