Lash's pov

It was a normal day, I was out on a run when everything went crazy. I come back and the house is in ruins, I race around the husk of ruins and I can't find anyone then I feel a pulse of Chaos energy and I stop, looking over to error who looks shocked as he looks at the ruins," I had nothing to do with this, and I don't do things like this, not with lives inside, he has your friends, they're fine, I fixed them up, but they'll need both of our help to get out." I nod and I go to the tornado, starting it up and I hop into the drivers seat," climb in! I'm not the most experienced pilot, but it'll have to do." He nods and hops in and I drive it down the runway, taking off with difficulty.

Error leads me all the way out over the open ocean and he points into the clouds," up there, he has a Heli carrier, I can keep this bird in the air, take the emerald, it'll help you more than me here." He hands me the glowing gem and we switch out, I grab tight to the wing and he drives up toward the carrier and I hold the gem and focus," Chaos control!" I yell and the gem brightens, pulling me along with it and I think of sky, keeping my thoughts on her until I feel cold metal around me. I put the gem away and I search, quickly finding my friends and I spin dash directly into the glass and it shatters. Sky asks," how did you find us?" I say quickly," error found me thinking you guys were gone forever, then told me mister egghead had you all but destroyed our home, and he's outside flying the plane, I'm headed to the control room to shoot this thing out of the sky, you guys head to the escape pods, its only ocean below us so those of us who can fly help those who can't." They nod and start running, I get into a running stance and I let the electricity flow through me and I race off, my feet hitting the floor faster then the eye can see.
I find the control room with ease, seeing Robotnik at the helm, I run off and cause a disturbance in a hallway far from the control room and when he slips past me to find out what's going on I rush into the control area, spin dashing and destroying everything in sight. Once the alarms go off I race out, knowing I did enough damage to sink this boat. I race around until I find the pod bay to find none left. I thought for a moment if I should make sure Robotnik got out before this boat sinks. I decide to go make sure that everyone was off of the boat and I race through every part of the boat as it takes on water, having hit the sea by now and I find Robotnik opening the hatch only to cause more water to spill in. 

I hold my breath as I grab Robotnik and head for the surface, breaking through with a gasp. Unfortunately he was not as asleep as I thought as he pushed me down, holding me under with no way up to breathe then suddenly he cries out and I run out of air, coming close to passing out as something grabs me and pulls me above, pulling me into something and I gasp, coughing to get the water out of my system. Once I can breathe normally I look around and I don't see sky in the plane and I peak outside, seeing her trying to get out from some debris that was weighing her down. I climb out of the plane and ask Comic to take me in close, he nods and lowers the wing almost to the waters sleek surface and I reach out, grabbing sky and pulling her onto the wing and I hold her tight and I realize I don't hear her breathing. I quickly start performing cpr until she coughs and gasps, her body desperate for air, she rolls over but at least she's alive.
I tell Comic to find us somewhere to land for the night so we can get our bearings and treat everyone's injuries. He nods and says," hang onto sky, this is gonna be bumpy!" I nod and hang on as we fly away.
