Lash's pov
A week has passed and X finished the modifications for the earpieces and its been a great addition, although I slowly started feeling more worn out the more I fought with the earpiece. I just figured I needed more sleep and kept going. Another week passes and I hear papyrus cry over the comms," guys! At the old egg base! He's attacking, I need help now!" I nod and tap the button," on my way papy, just sit tight so I can find you!" I hear sky say into her mic," no, lash you've become close to passing out in battle, let us handle it!" " and let papy get hurt? No way, besides I'll be fine." I let lightning course through me and I launch off, ignoring the fatigue that threatened to make me fall asleep. After 5 minutes of running I stop and catch my breath, my legs shaking. I need to get to papyrus, I look around and I spot him behind a rock with 10 robot drones surrounding him. I focus and launch off, spinning into a ball I destroy all the drones, only for more to come out. " Run Papyrus, run!" Papyrus nods and starts running and I focus, slowing time around me and I quickly take out the drones and time speeds up as I start running, grabbing papyrus and heading for base, I suddenly trip and collapse, at least protecting papyrus from the rough landing. I slowly stand up, exhaustion racking every nerve in my body and I look up, seeing egghead himself hovering above me as I collapse, unable to keep standing so I climb up to papyrus and I stand again, trying to summon lightning but I have none left and I reach for my ear, realizing that the comms was my problem but I pass out, falling into darkness.
Robotniks pov
I watch her pass out and I step out of the vehicle and I tilt her slightly to see the commlink in her ear. A disturbing feeling washed over me as I take it out and I say into it," can sky, error, nightmare and sans meet me here, I'll leave the commlink on for a signal, we need to talk." I carefully remove the plastic outlining and I see a miniature capacitor filled to the brim with electricity. No wonder she's exhausted, I sigh and I check on her friends Papyrus and frisk, bandaging them up and soon a plane lands and I say," before we begin, please turn off your commlinks, there's something I need to show you and I don't want you guys stirring up trouble at base, and does the plane have a communication?" Sans nods and turns it off, pulling out his commlink and hitting a button and the others follow, sky asking," so why did you bring us here?" I hold out the capacitor full of energy," that is energy from your friend Lash, I found it inside her commlink. She's drained almost to death, I wanted to show you it before I reprogrammed it to give its energy back, so that she at least will wake up soon." I fiddle with the device and I add a needle and I place it on lash and force the capacitor to release its energy and her breathing stabilizes and I place her in the plane," you should really have a talk with who made her commlink, and if you have trouble getting rid of them come to me, I'd be more then happy to deal with them." They nod and get into the plane, error teleporting away with papyrus and frisk and I hop back into my vehicle and drive away.
