Lash's pov

I was running through Mobius at my top speed, in a desperate search for my friend Sky, she's been missing ever since a big fight turned to blows and she got me good. but I was certain she had gotten captured after she hit me. I stop when I feel somebody grab my arm and I see error," what do you want you blast of decay?" he laughs for a second," I see you've grown better at wordplay since our last meeting, but I'm not here to battle, I know you've been looking for the fox Sky right? well she's in an underground lair that I know about and will happily take you there to free her, I've been healing her and telling her to hang on and I would find her help, but she's not listening, it's like she's lost the will to live."

I nod," please, if she needs help then I can get her out." I hold out a hand and he holds out a Chaos Emerald and he grabs my hand," Chaos Control!" I felt my body shift through the strange teleportation and when we land I hold the wall. error smirks and says," the chaos control shorts all the cameras for the whole bunker for 1 hour, find your friend and get out in that time, you're free and clear, miss the time, and there's nothing stopping me from coming after you." I nod and speed off, searching at supersonic speed and I find her. she looked horrible, but I knew I didn't have time to sightsee, I needed to get out of here.

I run around the room a few times then roll off the wall, rolling into a tight ball and smashing into the glass, grabbing her and destroying the chains on her wrists. I pull her safely into my arms and burst into a sprint, finding the elevator and hitting the top floor, once the doors open I burst off, rushing through a window and into the woods at top speed. I find a stream and I carefully start fixing her up.

a few hours later

sky slowly opens her eyes and she sees me, sitting up in surprise," how did I not kill you with that blast? I - I I've killed people with less voltage." I smile," you can't get rid of me that easily, besides, I never stopped looking since the moment I woke up. I'm just so happy that your safe and alive." she smiles and hugs me, her fur shifting between midnight and her, i could tell that this hug was a combined effort as i hugged back, happy that she would be ok.
