Lash's pov
I race through Ponyville, zooming past gaggles of ponies and I leap up, naturally leaping up the castle and I stop on top of the spire. I smile as I look around, the peaceful town continuing thier life. No fear of a robot army swarming thier peaceful town, it must be so nice. I scoff at the thought of staying, after all, I didn't want to put these amazing and peaceful people in danger, while they may have magic and wings, even a princess to protect them, yet I fear a robot making scientist may just pick it to pieces. A blue Pegasus rockets out of nowhere and barely misses me, making me slip and I quickly catch myself, racing down to the ground and I stop, sighing in relief that I had stopped myself and the blue furred Pegasus with rainbow mane and tail hovers over," you ok? I didn't see you there" I nod," yep, I'm good, just got lucky with my speed, you must be Rainbow Dash?" I kindly ask and she nods," yep, the one and only fastest pony in all of Equestria." 

I smile and hold out a hand to shake before saying," Whiplash, but call me Lash, fastest hedgehog in Mobius, Hero of Earth and Mobius" she places a hoof in my hand and shakes and she asks," Fastest Hedgehog huh? How about we see who's faster?" I think about it for a minute before saying," sure, you pick the course, just please try to keep it somewhat safe for me and you, I don't want to hurt myself, and I doubt you do" she nods," how about we go from here to Canterlot? The route is safe enough" i think it over, remembering the route." Ok, lets do it" i get down into a running position, placing my hands down and i let lightning spread through my veins and the fur around my gloves electrify. I pull the electricity in to conserve energy and a random pony counts us down as they form a line for me to run through and i smirk and once the countdown ends we're off, racing as fast as i can, zooming through ponyville and quickly out into open air." Here i go!" I put on a burst of speed and i run off past Rainbow, keeping my pace the best i can, and about halfway through the race i feel my foot hit metal. I look behind me as an explosion goes off and i slow down, noticing a land minefield directly in front of me and i stop right before i hit one and i look up, seeing massive nets in the sky and i see Dash soaring toward them." DASH STOP! THERES NETS!" I cry out, and the sudden mention of her name causes her to pull back her wings and she slows down before she hits the net, slowly flying down and i say," Don't, theres a minefield around me, i can get through it without blowing up, but these nets are immpassible to ponies" she nods," agreed, i'll go get some storm clouds and other pegasi from Cloudsdale to help me clean this up, but are you sure that i can leave you alone in the minefield?" I nod," just go" she nods and turns, but doesn't let go of eye contact so i get down in a running position toward the minefield, knowing i had to figure out how big this was and mark it off, pulling out the emerald in case i ran into trouble"i'll be fine Dash, just trust me, but somebody has to block this off so no one gets hurt." She nods and soars away and i launch off, careful not to set off any mines i make it to the other side and i quickly call on my electricity and i launch off, digging my feet into the ground, carving a path deep into the ground around the minefield, and after 5 minutes of running i leap out and stop, feeling drained. I pant for a minute before i see a unicorn with a familiar flight suit jacket walk over, his mark being two wrenches crossed with one of my quills glowing in between both wrenches and i growl, Robotnik, the man set a trap that would hurt any pony that happened to come across it," Robotnik! You know i'm ok with you messing with me, but putting innocents at stake is never ok" i rush in front of him, my quills spread and robotnik stumbles back for a moment, obviously not used to his new self," ah, it seems nothing escapes your clever eye Whiplash, the trap was meant to see what pony form you would end up as, did not occur to me that you would remain the same. Oh well, makes my job easier" he pulls out a spray bottle and grabs me with magic and i try to move, being unable to as he sprays me with knockout gas and i hold my breath, trying to keep from breathing it in.
Eventually it becomes to much and i gasp, taking in a deep breath of posioned air and i try to struggle even as my eyes start to close when the magic holding me suddenly releases and something lifts me into the air and i gasp, coughing as i try to get my head to stop spinning and i hear dash ask," you alright? Hold on, we've got you" I nod and say weakly, still fighting off the sleepiness." Thanks Dash, he almost got me, he hit me with something to make me fall asleep, i'll keep fighting it" i hold my head as i fight it off and dash lands far from the trap site and i climb off, steadying my feet and he grabs me again, only to be interuppted by a blast of wind from Dash and he sprays us both, me gasping and coughing and Dash falling. I quickly lunge and i catch her before she hits the ground." Just breathe Dash, just breathe, i got you, just rest" i start running, not caring where i'm going and i see the trap, smirking and i leap onto one of the mines, leaping off moments before it goes off and it launches me far, me rolling to take the hit better, my vision swimming as i start running again and i trip, screaming as i fall,hitting something and i can't see straight.
