That's all that Chungha felt on her body; Ache.

Even if she wanted to move, she didn't. Not yet at least. It confused her for a minute why her legs are trembling when she tried to move them or why her hips ached when she attempted to turn on her side.

That strong sting being enough to startle her awake.

Confusion, a dose with confusion and blurriness is all that she could make out as her eyes flutters open.

And right when it did..... Her memories jogged from last night.

The hotel, the man, blood..... A lot of blood. It all fluttered like a mess of cards into her head, bringing back that tight clench in his throat to the pain she felt on the lower region of her body.

Despite the pain, she immediately scurried back when she saw a blurred figure sitting next to her on the bed, nearly shrieking in fear but immediately relaxed when the familiar blonde turns his head towards her.

Her dad.

"Chungha," Jeongguk whispers, his voice alone making her feel this sentimental pain in her chest that brought back those vivid memories of last night, "Are you okay?"

Chungha couldn't speak well, let alone even breathe properly. Rising up a bit of distress was when she noticed Yeosang leaning against the wall in front of the bed she's laying on, watching her carefully with a twitching frown on his lips.

"Y-Yeah..... I'm okay," She whispers, rubbing a hand to her neck to ease the tension there, "W-Where am I?"

Chungha doesn't remember-

A little while afterwards the continuation of the night flew her mind, remembering the smiling man her sang to her underneath the stars while talking about this kid who he couldn't talk to anymore.

Nervously Chungha looks at Jeongguk and Yeosang, knowing this would be a good opportunity to tell them what really happened and how she got here.

But instead she didn't.

She doesn't know why exactly, but she preferred keeping the Uber story as what really happened.

So she nodded, "Yeah.... Sorry I'm just a little woken up right now."

"It's okay," Jeongguk says calmly, reaching for her hand and softly caresses its, "You sent multiple messages to a lot of people last night in distress, what happened?"

Last night more than anything she wanted someone to be there.

She just went through an intense experience that never in her life she dreamt of going through, not now at least. To say she's naïve about the intention of others is an understatement, especially because she's not really experienced with people flirting with her.

She can never tell if they have bad intentions or not.

In her mind she really thought this man wanted to be with her. He talked about wanting to get her things and being together for a long time, call her pretty often and just..... She's not use to those things.

And it felt nice.

Briefly she remembers him saying he's going to text her in the morning when she's calmed down, but she doesn't know if she will be calm after something like this.

Never in her life has she been so scared and alone.

And she still feels that way too.

Maybe yesterday she did need someone, but now she can't seem to open her mouth to say the truth.

Would Jeongguk disown her?

Be disgusted by her having sex while being a bit too young? Or the fact it was with an older man?

Would he not trust her anymore with anything she says?

The more questions she asked herself in doubt, the more panicked she got as she looks at Jeongguk filled with worry back to her.

They have such a good connection and everything is going so good for them now.....

She refuses to ruin it.

She just..... She can't.

So with quivering lips, she manages to force a smile and waves a hand off, "I got pretty wasted last night and I saw these creepy guys. I don't know I panicked and while being intoxicated Eh.... Hard to use my fighting skills."

She lied.

Easily and smoothly, she lied.

Right to their faces.

Never in her life has she lied to Jeongguk, which would be a good reason why he would believe her.

Jeongguk only stares at her carefully, studying her eyes without saying a word. She remains calm, letting him study her well to pass the basic rule of lying.

Uneven breathing.

Change in pupils.

Odd body language.

Any quivers or avoid in eye contact.

And she passed.

That much was obvious by how Jeongguk slowly nods back, his own relieved smile before patting her head.

Instantly sending her to relief.

"Be careful when you're drunk alright? You had us all worried sick," He chuckles lowly, now stabbing her with another knife of guilt to his soft smile.

Yeah, she knows she probably should've said the truth.

About what happened, about Woosung being the one to bring her here, everything.

But if she did Jeongguk wouldn't be smiling like how he is right now.

And she refuses to let their relationship get messed up because of the choices she has made.

Even if it kills her from the inside.

Man, guess the truth won't come out so easily huh?

With this I wanted to show a more realistic approach in how she went with this situation, and that was to not tell him. The last thing she wants is to disappoint him and ruin their relationship. Remember, Jeongguk is still her parent, not a brother or a friend, and do we really open up to our parents  so easily when we do something that we know will make them disappointed in us so easily?
