Private messages between Ketssup?? and MummyI'mAZombie
MummyI'mAZombie: I have a proposition.
Ketssup??: A proposition? And what would that be? Spill the tea.
MummyI'mAZombie: Shut your disgusting mouth- I was looking back in your student files at your old school... you excelled in every subject, getting high marks in everything and, overall, you're a very gifted student.
Ketssup??: ...yes...where is this going?
MummyI'mAZombie: How would you like to go back to school?
Ketssup??: Are you kidding?? I'd love to! School was more of a home than my actual home, I loved it! Even if I didn't have any friends..
Ketssup??: But I'm a criminal now, aren't I? How am I going to be put into any skrt of good school?
MummyI'mAZombie: We've cleared your name.
Ketssup??: Wh
MummyI'mAZombie: Despite being retired, All Might still has more power in the world than you think.
Ketssup??: ..you're telling me All Might cleared my name completely just so I could go back to school??
MummI'mAZombie: Yep. He also did the same with Toga, although she finished school.
Ketssup??: I'm
Ketssup??: But I need a legal guardian to register into school, which I don't have.
MummyI'mAZombie: Yes you do.
MummyI'mAZombie: Your serum is still wearing off, so you probably don't remember, but does the name Kayama ring a bell?
Ketssup??: A little bit, maybe.
MummyI'mAZombie: It's a family name. Your aunt, Kayama Nemuri, is still alive and completely ecstatic to sign up as your legal guardian.
Ketssup??: ARE YOU SAYING FUCKING MIDNIGHT IS MY AUNT???
MummyI'mAZombie: Yuh.
Ketssup??: Sick. When do I sign up for a middle school?
MummyI'mAZombie: Right now.
Ketssup??:
Ketssup??: She's outside the door, isn't she?
MummyI'mAZombie: Yea.
MummyI'mAZombie: Good luck.
MummyI'mAZombie: Btw you're starting school tomorrow
Ketssup??: Hm. Lovely.

-(A lil roundabout with the kid's siblings so you can get to know them and their home life more! Constantly changing POV!)-
Shinsou's POV
"So... your friends are all Danganronpa kinnies, huh?"
"Yes, most of them. And I don't want to hear another word come out of you, you Leon kinnie."
"Ouch.. that hurts, Mashirao..."
"You're both absolute idiots..." Tenkin lets out a sigh, loosening up bit by bit the more he hangs around Sutepu. Honestly, I still stand by what I said earlier about their sibling dynamic. Every kid has a bit of disdain towards their sibling(s)... but I always imagined Ojirou's to be much less... aggressive. Consideribg the type of person he is, I expected him to grow up in a very calm and tranquil environment since he's so grounded and polite, as well as the opposite of.. however he apparently is around his brothers. Then again, being the youngest can be rough.
"So... I just gotta say..." I start out and their heads all snap towards ne at full attention in unison. How.. unsettling.
"Mashi, your family is much different compared to what I expected."
"Well, what did you expect?"
"I expected your family to be a lot... calmer."
"Ha! Whenever fans question about my family, they expect me to have real rowdy siblings. Nothing like these party poopers over here!" Raiju laughs out suddenly and uproariously. Tenkin and Mashirao glare piercingly into him.
"I understand why you may find our relationship...surprising." Both Mashirao and Tenkin say.
"Despite being relatively calm individuals, except for someone, we also have a lot of competitiveness inside us. Mashirao actually has it the worst, being the baby of two older brothers with successful careers." Tenkin begins to explain, then looks back at Mashi with an expression that almost seemed to be asking for permission to continue. Rather than giving it, Mashirao continued himself.
"I was always the most competitive of the three of us. Of course, I'm proud of Tenkin and Raiju for their careers, but I couldn't help but feel like I was just the baby brother always stuck in their shadows. Both of them were strong with incredible quirks, and I was just.. some kid with a tail. There's no way I could live up to the name Ojirou when you have a brother who's arguably the most famous soccer player in all of Japan, and another brother whos dojo has pumped out the most talented and prodigous martial artists in the world. I felt inferior, and honestly, still kinda do." Mashi explained without a care in the world, even laughing a bit between some of his words. He seemed to be over it, at least, for the most part. He really wasn't bothered by it.
"Mashirao... you could've told us how you felt." Raiju scolds him just slightly, showing a much more caring side than before. Mashi shrugged and laughed it off, blaming it on his stubborness and need to prove it to himself on his own.
"But... that's really all there is to our family. We've got a caring Mom and Dad who've worked their asses off for us... supporting us in whatever interest we take up or what we decide to do with our lives."
"A lot of the reason the three of us even took up such interesting careers (even though Mashirao isn't technically a hero yet) was to repay our parents for everything they've done for us.. Me and Tenkin are paid reaaaally well, but, Ma and Pa still live in the same, average sized house that they've had ever since even before Tenkin was born!"
"Hey, the family dojo's been around for forever. For about 3 centuries, I believe."
"Yes, and as the rightful owner of the dojo, I plan to continue it's legacy."
" 'Course you do.."
"What's that supposed to mean???"
"You're so traditional... and uptight. It's good thing you have a boyfriend now to pull that stick outta your ass!"
"And to put something else in your ass."
"MASHIRAO!"
...yep. Certainly a very interesting family dynamic.
Seems sweet, though.
"That's not very christian of you, Mashi." I playfully scold him and he sticks his tongue out at me.
"So... now that we've got my family out of the way, how about you 'Toshi? You've never actually told me a ton about your life." Mashi smiles patiently and warmly, tail swaying smoothly behind him. Well.. with a face like that.. how can I say no?
"Well... honestly, there's not much to my family life..." I say with an overwhelming amount of sarcasm. There's a whole lot of shit to unpack just about my life alone... but that's a bit dark and I don't want to bring down the mood, so I won't add too much detail. Mashi already knows all about it, anyways. But he won't tell Tenkin or Raiju in full, he's too respectable.
"Mostly, our bio parents are absolute trash. Abused all four of us in different ways, I'm tellin' ya. They refused to buy Mereza any sort of sunglasses once his quirk came in. Basically, his eyes became super sensitive to any sort of light, and now, as a result, he's partially blind in both eyes. Megazo was negelcted for having the 'weakest' quirk of the bunch and never showing interest in whatever they deemed useful. Kiotsu has poor memory, and would always forget whenever our bio parents told him to do something. They got really aggravated really soon because of it, and... did stuff to him. Tezamen would accidentally shock them, which gave her the same fate as Kiotsu. As for me, they found me simply villainous and refused to let me see the light of day. Literally, I didn't even know my siblings existed until a few years ago. All in all, not a great start. But we each got adopted by new families. Kiotsu and Tezamen were adopted together, Mereza, Megazo and I were all adopted by different families, however. But we kept in touch. And Eraserhead and Present Mic are both my dads now, which is pretty cool." I give a barebones explanation. Mashirao nods in interest, unfazed by the previously-known knowledge of my family's history of abuse. But Tenkin and Raiju... they were mortified.
"How the hell- how did-"
"Where are your parents now? I just want to talk."
"Hopefully dead in a ditch."
"Yeah I hope they are too."
"But uh... are your siblings doing any better?" At that question, I stay silent and think for a while. My eyes glossed over the room in search of my siblings. Megazo looked like she was playing some sort of picture game with Iwaroi, a happy smile on her face. Tezamen was showing off the sparks that came out of her hands to Raito, who stared in amazement. Kiotsu held a conversation with Satou's sister, Rikako. And Mereza was still talking (well, signing) with Ronhuo. He looked like he was having a lot of fun, sporadically moving his hands as he signed out words with a bright smile and a faint blush. A smile slid it's way onto my face.
"We're doing much better."

Sero's POV
"OhmygodohmygodohmygodI tALKED TO HIM!!" Sutepu basically screamed in joy, a dazed and dreamy looked on his face while he pressed his hands up against his heart. He's got it bad already...
"Yeah, yeah... calm down Staple." Anaake pat Sutepu's back as he continued to drift off into hsi little fantasy land where it was only him and Tenkin. I sighed in amusement and exhaustion at how he acted, Hasami, however, just looked confused down at Sutepu.
"Wait.. why are you so excited??"
"You'll understand when you're older, kiddo..."
"Staple's in looove~" Anaake teased in a sing-songy voice, earning her a light slap on the cheek. She only giggled maliciously, while Hasami was still left slightly confused.
"What is love?"
"Baby don't hurt me..."
"Don't hurt me..."
"No more."
"I still don't know what love is!!" He whisper shouted as to now draw any attention to himself. The three of us just laughed at him while he glared with puffed up cheeks and ruffling hair.
"If you don't tell me I swear I'm cutting off all of your guys' hair in your sleep.." he said as his fingers each started to turn into scissor blades.
"Calm down there, Edward Scissorhands. Love is just a word used to describe something you really like!" Anaake starts out and looks over at me to finish.
"Yeah! For example, you love us!" I exclaim and his barely visible eyes narrow at me.
"Nah, you guys kinda suck."
"Awww man..."
"Seems like you're all enjoying yourselves." I hear a familiar deep voice and turn around to see the stoic and intimidating dispositon of Shouji.
"May I sit?" He asks thoughtfully.
"Of course, dude!" I say and scoot over, he sits down and waves to all my siblings.
"So what brings you over here? Shouldn't you be hanging out with Tokoyami?"
"He started talking with Iida's and Kamakiri's younger brothers about mcr once he got back from torturing Bakugou. Shouldn't you be with Kaminari?"
"He's keeping an eye on his sister while Tezamen plays with her." We nod in understanding to eachother. I notice barely a second later about how my siblings were just.. staring at the two of us while we talked.
"Oh! Sutepu, Anaake, Hasami, this is my good friend Shouji!"
"Sorry for intruding like this, but I haven't properly met you yet and thought this was be a good time to." He waves once again on instinct and they wave back to him. He notices Hasami from the corner of his eye, who was frozen and rigid in his seat, and turns to look at him.
"Sorry if I frighten you, I can assure you I'm much friendlier than I look." Hasami jumps slightly with an embarrassed blush dusting over his cheeks.
"O-Oh! No it's ok! I was just wondering-"
"-what's under my mask?"
"..yeah." Hasami nods slowly. Come to think of it, I've never seen Shouji without his mask on. I think only Tokoyami has...
"While I'm curious too, you don't have to take it off if you don't want to." Anaake says thoughtfully and waves it off. Shouji shakes his head.
"It's really no big deal. I have no issue with taking it off, but if you really want to see... you must know it's not a very...pleasant sight." He stammers. Anaake and Sutepu shrug.
"I think we can take it." I answer for the three of them with a smile. Shouji shrugs and grips at the bottom of his mask, lifting it up slowly until it's completely off of his face, revealing...
An amalgamation of a mouth.
At the front where his lips should be, there are three holes seperated by strips of skin stretched between them, pearly and sharp white teeth peeking through. His mouth was elongated and stretched into what looked like a dog's mouth, pure canine teeth littering his mouth. They poked out so far, the skin was basically sat and stretched on top of each tooth, only one or two actually hidden within the mouth. It then drags out into a jagged and curvy reptile's mouth, the edge reaching what would be his ear.
(A/N: HE'S SO HARD TO DRAW WHAT-)
"...woah." I manage to say.
"Did it subvert your expectations at all?" He half-joked. I shook my head, I think he actually looks super cool... but I can see why he'd want to hide his 'scary' mouth from others. Otherwise, he might end up at the #1 spot on the 'heroes who look like villains' list.
"That's...so... fuCKING COOL!" Anaake smiles brightly while staring at his face, Sutepu looks mildly impressed and intrigued, and Hasami... is blushing even harder. Somehow even more tense in his seat.
"Thank you. No one's ever called my mouth 'cool' before. I think I'lll keep the mask off for now." He said and folded his mask neatly, settibg it in his lap. It was so interesting to see how the straps of his skin at the front would stretch out as he talked, same for the tiny clacky-clack sounds that would come from all his canines, and if he open his mouth really wide, I bet he'd look like a snake!
"Anyways, this isn't about me. I came here to learn more about all of you."
"Well, whaddya wanna know?"
"Well... I already know your names.. maybe simple things, like work and home life and all that?"
"Ah. Sutepu can start then!" Anaake says and slaps Sutepu a little too hard on the back, he jumps slightly and turns to glare at her, then turning back to Shouji with a friendly gaze.
"Well, I'm a seamster. I make a ton of clothes and jazz... I started out as a kid, about 13 or 14. You would not believe how many Halloween costumes I'd make every year..." He sighs and stares down at the ground in horror.
"A seamster, huh? What do you specialize in?"
"Well, I make clothes for regular stores, but I also have my own little shop downtown where I sell handsewn cosplays and costumes. Doing Halloween costumes every year for these kids was tiring as fuck, but it opened up a good business opportunity, and I have a nice average of costumers per day. It's great since I get a nice amount of money out of it, which I'm able to help our parents out with since they aren't the richest people on the block." He spirals off a bit, excitedly talking about his line of work and our parents. He always made our halloween costumes as a kid, but he also made us shirts, pants, socks or whatever else whenever our parents didn't have enough money to buy us stuff using wahtever fabrics he had left over. He's always been so generous, taking time out of his day just to make stuff for us.
"Interesting... I'll have to stop by sometime, it sounds really nice." Shouji smiles.
"Well, Staple here missed the most important part of it all..." Anaake added on, catching our attention.
"We actually run the shop together. I'm an artist myself, I draw or paint pieces and hang them up in our shop to sell. Sometimes they're original pieces, sometimes they're artwork for games, movies, tv shows, comics or whatever. They sell well since they're much cheaper than official posters they sell in larger stores, and also they're still high quality. And I'm also a tattoo artist. I set up pictures in folders for people to look through if they want tattoos, or they bring in their own stuff for me to tattoo!" She says happily, and once again, Sutepu looked down at the ground as if remembering a terrifying flashback.
"She tried convincing me to get a tattoo once from her... it worked, and now I have a tattoo of a croc on my left bicep." He facepalmed in shame, and it rang a pleasant laugh from Shouji.
"I'm sure Kirishima would just love to hear that..."
"That's what I said when I first saw his tattoo!" I laugh out. Shouji laughs with me and turns back around soon enough to look back at Hasami, who, as soon as he caught glimpse of Shouji, began to turn as red as a tomato.
"What about you, Hasami? I know you're much too young to be working but... how's school?" He asks politely and you could see Hasami begin to break down on the inside.
"U-UHm.... school's been... gay- gREAT, I've been pretty octopu-OCcuPIed with how much homework we're given but.. overall not b-bad...it's not too hard.." He makes a complete fool of himself by stuttering so much it was nearly incoherent. But, Shouji seemed unbothered either way, able to completely understand him.
"It's good to hear you've been doing well." He says simply with an air of friendliness. Sutepu, Anaake and I look between each other with smug glances, knowing exactly what was happening.
"It's also great to see siblings get along so well. In my old school, I would always hear about how some kids would absolutely hate their siblings' guts... I know you 4 must act like that at times, but at least you're on constant speaking terms." He nods simply. But his head snaps over once he sees the small figure of Tokoyami approaching.
"Sorry, but I must take my leave. It was nice talking to you all." He stands and waves goodbye, walking quickly to Tokoyami.
As soon as he leaves, the three of us turn our heads to look at Hasami with suggestive glances.
"Wh-What?!" He shouts defensively. All we do is wiggle our eyebrows. We could virtually see the steam come out of his ears.
"Oh... you know what~"
"I hate this family-"
"Love you too~"
-----------------------------------------------------
Kirishima's POV
I was sat with Satou, Kouda and Rikako. We all relayed jokes off of eachother, Kouda even squeaking out a couple words once or twice. Overall, we were having a good time just hanging out, guys bein' dudes and other manly stuff, ya know?
"Oh! Rikako! I've been meaning to ask you... why'd you decide to work in the bakery instead of being some sort of hero? We all saw in the battle how awesome you were! Even if you did get taken out kinda quickly by Fukidashi..." I laugh quietly and Rikako smiles brightly while responding.
"Simple: I just love baking. The family bakery has also been around for a while, and our grandparents really want us to continue working so the bakery stays in business."
"Oh! I totally forgot it was a family business! But... did you say your grandparents? Do you not have parents?" I ask and both Satou and Rikako look at me with slight surprise. I feel myself shrink slightly under their gazes. I must've said soemthing wrong... that would be kind of a sensitive subject.
"I-I'm really sorry... I shouldn't have said anything about that.." I smile awkwardly and the two of them just laugh quietly at me, making me.. incredibly confused.
"It's alright, Kiri. You didn't say anything wrong. I was just surprised you picked up on such a small detail." Rikako explains coolly, her calm but inviting expression unwavering.
"To answer you, no, Riki and I have never met our parents and we've lived with our grandparents our whole lives. Even then, it never really bothered us. Family is family." He answers as if it's not big deal, making me heave a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness... but then, Satou... you love baking too, right?"
"Yeah, of course!"
"Then why didn't you take up on the offer to continue working in the bakery?"
"..well.. actually our grandma is the one who suggested I become a hero..." he started off his regular upbeat self, but it became weaker the more he spoke. I saw as Kouda comfortingly slif his hand into Satou's and intertwined their fingers, making him blush lightly.
"I know we said we never knew our parents.. but our grandma told me how they weren't really... the best of people. The never abused us or anything, or even threatened to, they just had a lack of care for everyone that wasn't them... at times, it got dangerous how much of other's things they were willing to sacrifice to get whatever they wanted. My grandma insisted I became a hero to stop that from happening to other families, not just in the sense that I save lives or rescue civilians... but also a hero in the sense that I could be someone a civilain can see as a pillar of safety and hope. She hoped that whenever someone saw me as a hero, they felt the same sort of security in their lives that she felt when she saw both me and my sister for the first time... of course, she offered this to Rikako to, but the hero business just isn't for her." He explained in depth, getting slightly emotional over his obviously very fond memories. Has this been his drive the whole time? I don't he's ever really shared this with anyone... it's nice to see more of an insight on why Satou wants to be a hero.
"Our grandma is the type that believes anyone can be a beacon of hope, no matter what they do. In her mind, she sees giving someone a box of free cookies as being the same as rescuing a bystander from a villain. In both instances you're making someone's day, it doesn't matter how major or minor it may feel, all that matters is you've made that person happy." Rikako looked off dreamily, also fondly thinking of their grandma. She sounds like a very sweet person... I hope one day I get to meet her!
"Your grandma sounds like a wonderfully sweet person! It's super cool seing someone as manly as her raise two equally as manly kids for the purpose of teaching them that not just anyone can be a hero, but everyone already is a hero! All it takes is one act of kindess!" I got super pumped and almost jumped up out of my seat from how excited I got whiling praising this mystery woman. The two Satou siblings laugh at me.
"She really is incredible, huh?"
"Definitely!" I shout and Kouda excitedly nods in agreement, a small "(yeah!)" heard escaping from his mouth.
"You two are making me blush, and we're not even talking about me." Satou rubs his reddening face.
"Alright, alright. You guys might want to calm down or you might kill poor Rikidou here."
"Sorry!"
-----------------------------------------------------
Fukidashi's POV
"Uh.... Togaru..."
"I know.. I know." He groans as he watches his little brother, Saibuto, chat up Iida's brother, Tenkakyo.
"I get that you're the protective big brother and all that... but please don't kill Tenkakyo, we don't need you to be charged with another murder." Garu rolls his eyes and struggles to hold back a smile as he just scoffs at me.
"All I'm gonna say is if Tenkakyo lays a finger on Saibuto... I'm gonna pull a Mondo Owada and-"
"-sPOilers! You know I'm not that far into the game yet!"
"Manga that's literally the second trial."
"...I procrastinate!"
"Trust me, I know." He looks at me with a shit-eating grin on his face and I dramatically put a hand to my chest.
"Babe, that's not very gucci lit of you!"
"You still love me~" he teases and kisses the top of my speech bubble. This bastard... always breaking the law and being cute as fuck to get out of trouble... it works everytime.
I sigh and look at Saibuto as he continues to show Tenkakyo videos of god knows what.
"Hey, 'Garu.... just wondering, but how did both you and your brother end up being such edgelords?"
"I have no clue... I guess it just runs in the family..."
"Are your parents edgy too?"
"...yea. They're goth."
"...that.. explains so much."
"Oi, shut up and go like... talk to Ronhuo or whatever."
"Gee... maybe I will... I actually have a couple of things to ask him and Rin anyways, so I guess I'll be right back." I get on my tip-toes and kiss his cheek to the best of my abilities using my "^3^" face. As I walk off, I see him smiling with the faintest bit of red on his cheeks.
As I look around for Rin and Ronhuo, I spot them off in the corner. Although... Rin seems really tired as he talks to a sympathetic Awase, tired of someone's shit, that is. I see Ronhuo is also a bit farther off from Rin, excitedly but nervously talking to Shinsou's brother Mereza. I decide to see what's up and walk over to Rin and Awase.
"Hey guys... why are you two over here by yourselves... not getting up to anything scandalous I hope? ;D" Awase lets out a dissapointed sigh.
"I wish we were getting up to something scandalous-" he got a playful swat on the arm from Rin, making him laugh."
"-But right now, Hiryuu is lamenting over the fact that his brother is a hopelessly romantic but awkward gay, and the fact that obliviousness seems to run in the Shinsou family." Awase finished and Rin nods, complusively tying and untying his hair into his regular braid.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Ronhuo's found someone, but god he keeps using really cheesy pick-up lines on Mereza and he's really oblivious to them." Rin smiles, albeit a bit panfully.
"I'm surprised Ronhuo hasn't found anyone beforehand, he's a pretty good-looking dude..."
"Please stop thirsting over my brother."
"You can't make me, but seriously, he seems like the type that would have girls all over him... not even in a playboy way, he's just that naturally attractive."
"He's always wanted to be in a relationship, actually, but at the same time he never had any crushes. He thought he wasn't able to feel romantic attraction for the longest time, when really he just didn't meet Mereza yet, apparently. Which is mostly why I said I'm happy for him." Rin explains more in detail. Awww Ronhuo's just a lil' babeyyy.
"Yeah... our parents are pretty traditional, too. So technically I'm not even supposed to be in a relationship until I'm 18. Much less with a guy. Whoops-"
"But you wouldn't give me up for the world~"
"...don't bet on it."
"...ow."
"Damn, he got you Awase."
"I guess he did." Awase says, and just as he finishes saying it, Mereza is called over by someone and leaves Ronhuo alone. Once he thinks no one is looking, he lets out a long breath he had been nervously holding in.
Getting an idea, a lightbulb appears on my speech bubble, and I sneakily make my way up to Ronhuo.
Once I'm close enough behind him, I stand on my toes, grip his shoulder, and whisper in his ear.
"So, you've fallen in love with Cyclops?"
S C R E A M
Ah yes, the expected response.
Match making time.
