Ch. 32- Not. Cool. Dudes.

Aizawa's POV

"Vlad, Midnight, Thirteen. You're going to be patrolling through the classrooms. Keep an eye on any sort of sketchy behavior, or any people at all in campus. Hound Dog, you'll be searching outside campus. Keeping an eye on any unfamiliar scents." I say to the four of them and they give a nod of confirmation, then turn to look at Snipe and Ectoplasm.

"Ecto, you're going to be patrolling through the whole campus. But, in order for your clones to not be seen, they have to be hidden while they hide so the villain doesn't suspect it when they see more than one of you everywhere. Snipe, you're the only one who has a built in earpiece in their suit, and also the best at stealth besides me, you're scoping out the principals office. That's where all of our information is." I finish explaining to the both of them and they nod.

"What do I do?"

"Hizashi, you're staying with Recovery Girl. That's where we'll take them once we find them, and you're our interrogator." I finish and we all break into our positions, I was going to be acting completely natural and scoping around the area along with Vlad, Midnight and Thirteen.

I trudged around the school, the sun was setting, and it would be getting easier to sneak in during the night. Especially with all their edgy and dark as fuck aesthetics. Seriously, at least my edgy aesthetic has some style to it. The villains are about as fashionable as a Total Drama Island character.

While I was going through my round in the hallways, I look out of the window and see a dark purple figure with gold eyes. The eyes disappear after only a quick second, and the dark purple vapor of a body that was hard to spot in the darkening area seemed to disappear. Was that the infiltrator?

Suddenly, my phone starts to ring, and I look to see ScoobyDoobyDoo.

"Yes?" I answer.

"Aizawa, I smelled something new. Two smells that overlapped eachother. One is completely gone now, but the other was present. The one that left smelled like burning, rotting skin and the other smelled like faint whiskey. I think one of them is already in the school because of how quickly the event left, but I'm currently working to apprehend the other." He says quickly and quietly.

"Good work, Inui. Tell me when you've caught them."

"Will do." He finishes and hangs up. I put away my phone and, while slowly making my way to the principals office, I tap on my ear piece to contact Snipe.

"Come in, Snipe."

"I'm here, Eraser."

"Good. Any sightings so far?"

"None at all."

"Well, can you quickly look into the office to see if there's anyone?"

"Can do, but I don't know how anyone could get in there." I hear Snipe's breath hitch and go silent as he opens the door, barely making a sound.

"There's someone in there.." He whispers to me after closing the door silently.

"Should I do anythin' about them?"

"No, I'll do it. Gunshots won't sound good to anyone outside, and we need them alive. We can't risk them dying." I answer him and round the final corner until I'm facing towards him while he stands in front of the door.

"Roger that." He looks at me and says, turning off the ear piece.

"Did you see any of their features?" I whisper to him.

"Black, spiky hair. Broad shoulders and a small waist, so it's a man. And purple, dead skin stapled to his body from what I saw on his hands."

"Perfect, thank you, Snipe."

"Of course." He answers me and stands aside to let me in. I open the door as quietly as he did and walk in to the side, careful to not make a sound as I watched from a dark corner what he was doing.

"Oooooh, student profiles." I hear him mutter to himself and pull out a couple.

"Aoyama Yuuga, Ashido Mina, Asui Tsuyu...." He continues reading the files on and on. The files of my students.

"Hm... Todoroki.... why does that name sound so familiar?" I hear him again, and I'm brought back to a memory.

"Endeavor's son: Missing."

The news article that shocked the entirety of Japan. Including Endeavor himself. Could this man really be him?

Then, on instinct, I leap over and wrap my capture weapon around his entire body. Making him drop his bag. And I pull myself to hit him square on his back and pin him down beneath me.

"Ah, Aizawa Shouta. What a pleasant surprise." He says half sarcastically, half smugly. I ignore him and kick away his bag of files, then kick his head hard enough to knock him out from that single blow. I tighten his wrappings, and hoist him up over my shoulder, walking quickly to exit. Then I hear an odd buzz and clatter next to me, looking down, I see his phone. I pick it up as well, going to destroy it later.

"You got him?" Snipe says next to me as I leave the principals office and close the door.

"Yeah, and I need to ask something."

"Alright, shoot."

"Well, you remember the article about Endeavor's son going missing?"

"Yeah?"

I give him a certain look, and his head switches between looking at me, and then the villain, then back to me.

"You don't mean to tell me..."

"I think so, Sn-" I'm interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Mind answering that for me?" I say, my hands being full with him over my shoulder, his phone, and his fairly large bag. Snipe swipes my phone from my pocket and answers.

"Inui, Snipe here. Aizawa's got his hands full."

Incoherent speech over the phone.

"You and Ecto took down the other villain outside? Good work."

More incoherent speech.

"And you're turnin' him in? Alright."

The final batch of speech.

"Will we turn this one in?" Snipe asks me. I think for a little while, but it doesn't take all too long.

"No."

"He said no. Alright, yeah we're keepin' an eye on him for ya. Okay, tell Ecto I love him. Bye." He hangs up and slides my phone back in my pocket, pulling out his own.

"So they turned in the villain Hound Dog smelled before?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Tell everyone else we're heading back into the infirmary for interrogation."

"Already on it. Eraser." He answers and we stroll into the infirmary, Recovery Girl seeing us with surprise and leading me to a bed to set the villain on, Hizashi was standing next to the bed.

"Any sort of info yet on this guy?" He looks at me.

"None are solid, but we think he's... Endeavor's missing son." I say and both his and Recovery Girl's face immediately contorts into shock, before Recovery Girl quickly regains her composure first before him.

"That'd be likely, he does have a fire quirk, doesn't he?"

"I remember him from the training camp, so yes, but his fire is blue."

"It's even more possible, then. Endeavor said that once his son's quirk manifested, he knew it was stronger than his own. Blue is more powerful than red." She says and hooks him up to an IV, also taking out some blood to run tests on. As if on cue, the rest of the teachers (minus Ectoplasm and Hound Dog) come in through the door and get a good look at the discovered villain on the bed, and Recovery Girl leaves to rest the blood.

"He's alive, yes?"

"Yes he is."

"Sho, I'm just so glad you're safe." Hizashi speaks up with a smile on his face, leaning over to kiss me quickly.

"I'm glad you're okay, too, 'Zashi." I give him just the slightest smile.

Suddenly, he begins to stir and groan. His eyes flickered open slowly, and he sprung up as they widened incredibly, staring at us.

"What the hell do you want from me? This is not. Cool. Dudes."

"Answers." Hizashi says, refusing to acknowledge the villains's reference.

"Well, you're not getting any." He spat menacingly at Hizashi, his flames sparking up on his body. I quickly activate my quirk, and they disappear.

"Let's try again." Hizashi said with a tone so hateful and terrifying, no one could even imagine him using it. I saw the villain actually freeze up.

"Tell me, what's your name."

"...Dabi. That doesn't matter, anyways."

"Why would it not matter?"

"...because-"

"Because it's not your real name??"

"..."

"Where is the rest of the league, Dabi?"

"As if I'd tell you." Dabi got up in Hizashi's face, both of their glares equally icy and unwavering.

"Where are they?"

"I'd rather die than betray them."

"...alright-" Hizashi starts but I tap him on the shoulder and whisper a couple of suggestions in his ear. He nods and looks back at Dabi.

"How old are you?"

"23. Why does that matter?" I take note. Endeavor's first born son was actually a twin to his current daughter, Fuyumi. I remember Todoroki mentioning her, and Endeavor talking about the two of them when they were just born. Either a big coincidence, or more proof.

"And what do you remember before joining the league?"

"..all I remember is killing a gang."

"That's it? Not where you came from?"

"..yeah." He says while looking off to the side, his voice sounding as if he's in disbelief of himself.

"Excuse me, Eraserhead, do you have a moment?" Recovery Girl comes back out. I nod quickly and leave Hizashi to do further interrrogations. Once I enter her smaller office, she leads me to sit in a chair.

"What is it, Shuuzenji?" I oblige to sit and she sits across from me from behind her desk, folding her hands on top.

"Well... I tested his blood. And while testing, I saw odd injections of a certain substance. I couldn't identify it, so I looked closer and did more digging. I actually managed to extract it from his blood," she says and takes out a vial, handing it to me. It had a very small amount of some sort of clear liquid.

"As it turns out, that is blocking the part of his brain that stores his memories, so he remembers nothing from when he was a child. Now, that was just a trace of what was in his blood, it wasn't a new injection. His blood should completely clean itself and eject it from his body soon, which means he'll regain his memories."

"Just how soon are we talking, Shuuzenji?"

"Very soon, tomorrow morning, even."

"Excellent. What are we going to do with him right now, though?"

"..I'll keep him in here and give him something to make him go to sleep, as well as some medicine and ice for that head injury, courtesy of you." She scolded me just slightly. I only smile a little at her.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Anyways, is that it?"

"...well.. I wanted to suggest, as soon as his memory is recovered.. introduce him to your student, Todoroki Shouto. Maybe he'll know him."

"...that's.. not a bad idea. Thank you."

"Of course, and close the door on your way out, dear." She waves me off finally and I wave back to her, closing my door on the way out. Once I come back to the room, I see everyone still standing around and Hizashi seemed like he finished his interrogation. First, I walk up to Thirteen and mutter to them.

"Search for the League's contacts first and track their location, then destroy the phone so they can't do the same." I say and hand Dabi's phone over to them. They nod quickly and walk out of the infirmary.

"Before we leave you alone for the night, I have one more question to ask you, Well two more, really."

"Just get it over with." He practically groans.

"Endeavor-" I see him tense just slightly. "-what's your opinion on him?"

"...h-he's the main example of how corrupted the hero society is. Nothing more, nothing less." He stumbles a bit at first.

"Now, does the name Todoroki Touya mean anything to you?" He completely freezes up, his eyes were empty like he was recollecting all the data he could back in his mind.

"...no. Doesn't ring a bell."

"How about Fuyumi?"

"....no."

"Natsuo?"

"..no."

"Shouto?"

"No."

"Rei?"

"...Rei.."

He looks down at his hands, both sadness and confusion written on his face.

"I think we're done here." I finish and walk out, not waiting for any of the other teachers to catch up. As I'm walking out of the room, I look out through the window, and see that classes A and B have returned. I focus my vision on Todoroki, and sigh.

"I'm sorry, kid."
