Once we reached the festival, I felt something giddy inside me. I saw the cotton candy, balloons, face paint, and booths.

“Do they do this every year?” I ask. Laurence nodded.

“Yup! It's the annual festival.” I saw blue raspberry cotton candy, my favorite!

“Can we get cotton candy!” I tug on his arm and point to the stand.

“Whatever you want!” He chuckled. We made our way to the end of the line. It's funny because there was a line of little kids, and then there was just Laurence and I.

“That'll be $3. 99” The man said as he handed two blue cotton candies. I reach for my pocket to pay, but then Laurence paid first.

“Laurence I can pay” I tell him, as I take a but out of it.

“Nope, I asked you to come with me. And I should pay” I stuck my tongue out at him, there was no point in fighting over it. We walked around and played some carnival games, (Laurence got me a F/C (Whatever animal you want)

“Thanks Laurence… “I give him a hug as thanks. I need to do something nice for him. I pulled him away and saw a tint of pictures pink on his cheeks. I brushed the idea off that he was blushing because of me.

We walked around talking and laughing when something spotted Laurence's eye.

“Hey, it's Garroth and Aphmau” What? I see them, and they are waiting in line to get charactitures. (HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT?)

We approach them, and something inside felt… wrong. No, no, I'm not jealous or anything.

“Hey Garroth!” Laurence waived. I saw Garroth's reaction and he looked surprised yet-- nervous?

Odd.

Aphmau and I start talking to eachother as Garroth and Laurence do as well. I eventually ask her what she's doing here. She starts getting sweaty and says she's just hanging out.

“Seems more than that” I snicker. Irene help me, I think I'm jealous.

“wh-what? Okay… Um” She leans over and whispers into my ear. “We're on a date, please don't tell Laurence “

“Awwww, that's so- wait a minute. Why not?” I tilt my head in confusion. She quickly explains it'll ruin
their relationship, and she doesn't want that to happen. I…. understand. I guess.

“What are you doing here with Laurence?” She coes. I roll my eyes. She's a total fan girl, I better brace myself.

“It's a date… I think” I said the last quickly, I didn't want anyone else to hear.

“What do you mean, you think?” I just shrugged, and she kept going on and on about how we look so “cute” together.

Then the guys joined in our little group. We started chatting, then I had to use the bathroom.

“-Then you make a right and the bathrooms are all there!” Aphmau said. She was giving me directions to the bathroom. I thanked her and started making my way when I felt a tug on my arm. I look back and see that it's Laurence.

“You scared me!” I admitted.

“Well, they do call me, the Spooker” I shook my head,

“Not true. Anyways, did you need something?”

“Oh, I wanted to take a photo with you, i-in this photo booth” He pointed to the photo booth right next to us.

“Sure” We both climbed in, first picture, we made some silly faces. The second photo, we also did a silly face. “What should we do for the third one?” I asked.

“Leave it up to me” I didn't know what he meant, so I looked at the camera, but he grabbed my chin do I faced him.

“What kind of pose is this-- I didn't finish because, he leaned in. And, kissed. ME. I froze up, and felt my face heat up. I didn't know what to do! I heard the camera take a photo, and Laurence pulled away smiling. I looked away. I couldn't face him!

“Y-Y/N, i-if you didn't like it, or-” He started rambling on and on.

“Laurence, that was my first kiss… “ I say looking away. He probably kissed a bunch of girls. Why is mine any different?

“I-Im so sorry I didn't know”

“Hey, it's okay, Plus… “ I look at him, I felt… I don't know how to describe it, but good? I remember Aphmau telling her first kiss to me. "I liked it... "

"What do you mean you don't know how you feel?" I ask Aphmau as we sat down on the green grass. We decided to hang out, and talk about the usual. --Boys.

"Well, the kiss I had with Garroth... I-I.. "

"Well, how did that feel?" Her face started to heat up as I let out a giggle.

"I honestly don't know? I mean, it felt amazing and scary. I had so many emotions at the same time" At the time, I didn't know what she had meant. But, now..  Now I know.

But she didn't stop there. "And Y/N? I'm kind of losing interest in them"

"In who?"

"G-Garroth and Laurence " She said looking down. "Sometimes I feel like I'm just a toy to them. " I felt aweful when she said that. "Hey, they're still cute though!" She giggled, as she lightened the mood as well.

"Does that mean, you have someone else on your plate?" I say nudging her. "A better dessert?" I say smirking. She slightly punched me, and stayed silent. "that Aaron guy and you look cute together "

"Y/N!"

A smile started to appear on his face. "There's more where that -" Before he could finish I put my hand on his mouth to shut him up.

"You don't want to finish that sentence, unless you want a death sentence" I threatened. I always get defensive when I hide an emotion. I didn't want him to see me as some girl wanting guys.

".. Okay, okay. Anything for you M'Lady" I put my hand down, as the silence grew between us. I did not have to use the bathroom anymore after the awkward silence 

"S-So, should we um, get back to um, Aphmau and Garroth?"

"Sure" Laurence agreed, putting his hands in his pockets. We both walked over and saw Garroth and Aphmau alone.

"Where did the line go?" I asked.

"Well, the guy that was drawing the charactitures, left" garroth said sighing. "But we waited for you guys" Garroth said smiling.

"Oh, well, thanks" I said. "Hey! Why don't we draw ourselves?" I suggested. Everyone turned to one another and nodded their heads. "Let's draw eachother!"

"I'll do Y/N!" Garroth said.

"I'll do Aphmau!" Laurence said

"I'll do Garroth!" Aphmau said

"That leaves me with Laurence" I said.

"The best for last" He flirted, which caused me to lightly punch him as a warning.

We started drawing one another, and the final product was actually pretty cool. Garroth has really improved!

"Not bad!" Laurence said

"Not bad at all" I say smiling as I look at all four of us. While they were complimenting it, I felt someone stare at me. I turned around and saw... Gene. What is he doing here? He looked at me and a smirk appeared on his face. My Irene, I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face! He was leaning against the photo booth Laurence and I were in. And he was holding-- NO! He was holding the photo of Laurence and I! I excused myself from the group, and headed to him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Kitten... " Gene said. What the-? "Your just as feisty as Kitty"

"What do you want Gene?" I said crossing my arms. "I saw you staring"

"Hm, I don't want anything, I just found.. " He dug his hand in his pocket and pulled out a photo strip. ".. Some photos"

"Give me those!" There was no time to blush over it. I tried to grab it but he just held it up higher.

"Nah, uh, uh!" He teased. "Not yet"

"What do yiu want then?" I say tightening up my fists

"Hm, meet me at school after school, kitten" He walked away, and I felt a hand over my shoulder.

"What was that about?" Laurence asked. I turned around, and looked away. Should I tell him? Or should I do as Aphmau did? I held my breath and said--

"Nothing... "
