As she grew older, she didn't change much, until an accident happened and she stumbled upon two hunters by the names of Sam and Dean Winchester. Because she was very hurt and scared, she stayed with them, let them take care of her. She felt bad for them because they had to take care of her, so she learned everything there was to learn about their lives as hunters and soon, joined in on their hunts, saving people, hunting things.

And even though there was really good times that came along with hunting, there was also a lot of dreadful and painful things that tagged along. Sure, she finally had people who loved her for who she was, but there was a lot of grief and sadness. She had lost friends who she loved like family, and she even lost herself along the way. Though, she had grown as a person throughout the years with the Winchester's, becoming stronger and harder, she had become afraid of losing anymore people after losing her father figure, so she left the Winchester's and went to her real father's.

And then right when she though maybe living an apple pie life was worth it, Cold Ones enter her life. Not only that, but also shapeshifters who turned into wolves.

That's not even the craziest part either.

One of the shapeshifters imprinted on her, meaning that is her one true mate, her true love, whatever the fuck that means. And yeah, there is a setting in the whole imprint business where you can just be friends, but there is no world in which she can just picture herself friends with Paul Lahote.

He is her safe space now.

And right when things started to look bright again; Bella getting married, Dean and Sam back in her life, and Paul as her person, things are changed when an unknown witch enters the equation.

Maddie doesn't know who or what she is anymore, and it's going to take everyone who loves her, to help her. Especially when things go haywire and a group of vampires decide her and her friends/family is a threat.
