~ An AgencyShipping AU Concept ~

For clarification, I've been thinking about this for a while... I've been looking at fanfiction ever since the Unova Incident, but I never joined any sites... I didn't even know Wattpad was one! But all the high school Alternate Universe stories drew me in...and I had this concept idea... It also is an online friends Alternate Universe!

I likely won't write anything else in this AU for right now, but if you guys enjoy it, let me know!

(Also, some of my other alternate universe concepts involve pairings that...have no chances of being true based on our little Dexter friend group, but if prompted, I guess I could post an excerpt of them, too!)

Apologies in advance if anyone is too out of character!

"And...cut!" White calls out into her megaphone. She glances to the side out of the corner of her eye. Black flinches. White smiles in success. "That was considerably better than last session. Amazing job, everyone!"

"Thank you, President!" calls of the other high-school actors chime back.

"Let's take five!"

Everyone, though having fun, let out a sigh of relief. After all, preparing for an eight part play is kind of hard, especially if the only day you're catching a break is on Sunday. Sure, they have time to chill, but as expected from White, the top drama student, she wanted to get in as much practice as she could. Besides, she knows just the right way to get other students to comply to her wishes. (In fact, that's how she managed to recruit that math nerd easily...)

"Just remember," White says into the megaphone once again, "this is going to be the biggest event of the school year! Don't firget your lines!"

After White made that last call, everyone split up in their own little cliques, shouting or giving signs of encouragement to her words (even if some were reluctant). The manager sets down the megaphone and sighs. Darn this being her second year of high school. Darn her dreams of making the best play their high school has ever seen when the opportunity arised. (In her third year, there will be a musical. The one she directed as a first year was a hit, too; though definitely not as long as the eight part play she plans to produce this year...during a seven day festival event...)

Everyone says the plot is great and all, but she has her doubts. Who would even stick around the entire two to three hours per day, aside from the cast members? Is her work really as good as everyone says? What if it turns out to be a huge flop in the end? She shakes her head to rid of those thoughts while gratefully taking a water bottle that was handed to her, and-. Wait, what?

"Hiya, Prez!" Black chirps loduly, causing a couple people to look their way. He opens up his own bottled water. She was tempted to comment on...whatever Black is trying to do, but he continues talking. "You seemed to be thinking about something pretty intensely. You were kinda scaring me!"

"O-Oh, sorry about that," White gives a nervous smile, and with one hand, she places the bottle of water to her forehead. The other hand, she tucked in her uniform's skirt. It's where she has her comfort item--also known as her phone.

Black takes a moment to just look at her. Once again, before White could voice her inquiries, he shrugs to himself (somehow not voicing his opinion loudly, it's a shocker to her, too). He takes a slow sip of his water, grimacing. "It's no problem, Prez! You're working very hard on this long play, it's only natural for you to be worrying."

"A-Ah, you're right!" White takes the water bottle off her forehead and lays it down on her lap instead. Her arm was starting to get sore. "Thank you, Black! I was right to put you as one of the main characters! You act almost exactly like the character himself."

Black blushes a bit, rubbing the back of his head. "Prez, you're kind of embarrassing me," he takes a moment to look away. Though, this time, true to his nature, he voices his observation. "Speaking of main roles, though, I'm impressed you wanted to be the main lead of your own production."

"It's not that farfetched, is it?" White mumbles, suddenly shy. She is not used to this feeling, and it is unsure if she ever will be. "It's not like I am in almost every single scene..." The manager plays with her water bottle with her free hand. "R-Regardless! Shouldn't you check in with Cheren and Bianca? They must be worried about you... Again."

"Oh, right! They probably are! You know how Cheren is..." he chuckles, probably at the memories the three of them hold as childhood friends. "Bye, Prez! And don't worry about a thing! This play thing will go great!" Black waves, and then goes over to the other side of the gym where Cheren and Bianca likely waited. White watches him leave and keeps her eyes glued to where he was a bit longer than what is considered necessary.

She snaps out of her daze and checks the clock. Everyone has been working phenomenally hard, and...well. She can add an extra five minutes to the break. The others won't know a thing. Besides, from her knowledge, no one really is as into it as she is. Just as long as they get home at a reasonable time, the students could have a longer break.

Humming, White takes out her phone and hesitates before opening a messaging app. She longingly glanced at the online game app she used to play a ton before tapping on the app she desired, though. She shakes her head, typing to "Touya."

Touko: I can tell you anything, right, Touya?

As per usual during the evening hours, it took a minute for his response.

Touya: Of course, Touko!!! That's what friends are for! :D

Touko: Okay, well... Sorry for sounding so girly all of a sudden, but...

Touya: But?

Touko: I think I have a crush... ///

White didn't get a response right away, so she just pocketed her phone and went back to drinking her water. What she didn't expect, though, was for Black to suddenly cry out,

"WHAT?!"

Feeling a bit annoyed after almost choking on her water, White bent down to get her megaphone. "Black, please keep it down. The other clubs don't need to hear you from across the hall." She raises her eyebrow as Black gives her a sheepish look and smile, phone in his left hand. White sighs into the microphone. "All right. Everybody, break is up. I gave everyone an extra three minutes, so there is no more time to waste. Let's get back to work!"
