Suddenly, Sidharth's phone rang.

Excuse me guys.

Sidharth got up from his seat and went to guest room, which was allotted for him. Shehnaaz looked at the retreating figure. The fact that, he didn't even look at her when he left the room, gave a pang in her heart.

Hello papa..

Sidharth spoke slowly.

Are you ok, beta?

Yes, papa. Apne kyu call kiya?

Bass, tera yaad aya, tho kiya. Ek hafta hogaya, tune bina bataye gaye hue. Sirf, yeh bola ki friend ke paas jaa raha hei. Chal kya raha hei?

Kesav teased.

Even if Kesav had sensed that, there was something blooming between Sidharth and Shehnaaz, they both have never ever openly confessed about it to him. Sidharth, who used to share everything about him to Kesav, seemed to only smile, when it came Shehnaaz. May be because it was his first ever relationship. Kesav too thought, not to question them, until they say it by themselves.

Papa.. Wo meim.. Shehnaaz se milne aaya dha.

Hmmm..mujhe laga.

Kesav smirked on the other end.

But, Sidharth wasn't in a mood to continue this conversation. His girlfriend's family was searching for a perfect groom for her and he was standing here helpless. For the first time in his life, he felt he was helpless. He had no stable job nor a high class profile, like the grooms her family had found for her.

Papa.. Meim baat meim baat karu aapse. Ab thoda busy hu.

Kesav understood that something was bothering his son, but he agreed and ended the call.

Sana, please don't shout.

Her father went near to her and kept his hand on her shoulder.

Please dad, understand!! I'm just starting. Give me time. I will find someone for me and I am sure he will be perfect for me. I don't want some random guy who can provide food and shelter for me. I can manage it myself!!

Shehnaaz was at the end of breaking down. When she came here, she had thought to introduce her boyfriend to her family. But, here they were planning her wedding with someone else. For once, she thought to shout out that she had her man with her and he will be the only one for her in this life.

But, she knows that if she say it now, everyone would start to compare him with Varun, especially Madhavi aunty.  She didn't wanted to make it worst for him. She didn't wait for anyone to respond. She ran to her room and closed the door. She lied on the bed and cried for sometime, and didn't realise when she slept.

..

No one should speak about it now. Let her take her time.

Rajeev said sternly and glared at everyone. He never liked to impose his decisions on his daughters, but sometimes he was forced to do by his relatives. He already knew the reaction of Shehnaaz will be cold to this matter, but never thought that she would be at the end of breaking down. The site in front of him, a few minutes earlier, made him guilty for his words and allowing others to speak against her. Whenever he surrendered in front of Shehnaaz's dreams, he was happy that she was doing everything as per her wish. He didn't wanted his children to go through all these mess, but eventually they had to, due to the society.

Sidharth stood on the balcony and gazed at the stars. They were shining, but not so bright. May be due to the clouds, he thought.

Somewhere in his heart, he wished to have Shehnaaz near him, at least a call from her. But, it didn't happened. He waited a long time. Finally he decided to do it by himself and took the phone. Then, he remembered about the words of Madhavi 'well settled '. He kept the phone aside and lied on the bed facing the ceiling.

He had never thought seriously about their future. Only he had in his mind was, having Shehnaaz forever in his life and leading a happy life with what they had. Was that enough?? Did love provided everything for a successful family life? Was he capable of providing her, what her family needed? A secure life? A stable life? What if he didn't get more projects? Whether she will be happy to lead a life as wife of a normal dance trainer? As a daughter in law of a coffee shop owner?

He was confused. He wasn't getting a proper answer. It was not about love alone, it was about life. He had no answers to it. For a moment he felt that he wasn't perfect for her. Her family could find a much better partner for her.

He wasn't able to sleep the whole night. The night was more than a nightmare for him.

Hayye rabba, 8 baj gaye!!

Shehnaaz woke up from her bed and went to washroom. She blamed herself for not meeting Sidharth last night. She needed to talk to him and find peace in his arms.

...

The breakfast session was almost silent. Sidharth had no courage to face her as well as her family. Shehnaaz tried to get his attention sitting opposite to him on the dining table, but he ignored.

So, you guys need to leave in an hour, right?

Aman asked even knowing the answer, just to break the silence.

Hmm..

Shehnaaz smiled softly.

Beta, don't need to stress about what we told. Just concentrate on your career.

Her father reassured her that he was always with her. This time she smiled broadly and nodded at her father with pride. She knew that he will be always with her. But the silence of Sidharth was making her nervous. She had never seen him like this. He was an easy going person. Now, he seemed to be lost.

..

Shehnaaz pulled his hand into her's and kept her head on his shoulder. He wasn't reacting. She pouted sadly and looked at Sidharth.

Sidharthhh!!

Sidharth rested his head on the seat and closed his eyes. He didn't wanted to talk. He was still confused. He had no courage left to offer her a better life.

Hmm.

He replied coldly.

Are you mad at me?

No.

Then what happened?

Nothing.

Kal jo..

Sidharth interrupted whle she spoke.

Sana, please. I am not feeling well. Let's talk later.

He didn't even wanted to look at her. It was painful for him.

Hearing his cold response, Shehnaaz's eyes became moist. She kissed on his cheeks and rested her head on his shoulder.
