"It has come to my realization over the years how messed up the events of my childhood have made me, in these journal entries I will confess and express my feelings as well as describe the events that occurred in my youth. For starters, at a young age Me and my two closest companions Jessie and Graham, had been known to a small group of individuals as members of the Vale project. The Vale Project was a institution that took children as young as they could and tested them as an attempt to alter magic abilities and sustain certain dying magic types. The treatments were beyond unethical, involving starvation, physical abuse, mental abuse, etc. we watched what felt like hundreds of our 'siblings' die. This had an everlasting affect on my mental state.

Adalee ( born as Adalee Guinevere Bennet)

The 19 year old Empath had escaped the system at 9 almost 10. In the passing years her mental state massively decreased, at 16 she developed a habit of dying her hair and keeping a short length, trying to hide even the smallest memories of her youth, at 17 she developed a habit of self-harm as many other escaped child had. This started after the discover of more traumatic past. She stopped cutting and dying her hair but still has a slight self harm problem, but has been working on coming to terms with these traumas. She's been in a loving relationship with her childhood best friend Grace, aka the princess of the kingdom she resides in, a relationship that has high risks of Adalee being found again. She has been living with her adoptive parents Avery and Alyrus since she escaped, before they had even gotten together.

Jessie (born as Jessica Maude Soloman)

Jessica Soloman had escaped the system at 12, she never found a permanent home after, she temporarily lived in foster care but found that to be almost as traumatic as the Institution. Unlike Adalee, Jessie has very dangerous pyrokenetic powers, this also being a part of her slight delinquent tendencies. She feels like she doesn't have many close connections as she doesn't have an adoptive family or a significant other but she does have friends which she can live with. at 19 she has found herself sleeping with many different people as a coping mechanism.

Graham (born as *redacted* Bradbury)

Unlike Adalee and Jessie, there is less information on Grahams life as he hadn't gotten out of the system till 16, but he does have a very kind girlfriend. His older sister Nora was apart of the system but escaped before him and he was never able to track her down.
