Aphmau' POV

Everyone was still talking and laughing. 

After getting waved off by me, Aaron seemed a bit down. 

That's good, that's what I wanted.

K: so did you guys get your schedules?

Everyone: Yeah!

B: I haves classes withs Skys and Maxes.

S: Really?! Wow, I can steal Max's cheese all year then....

M: Adam.....(Sky's real name is Adam)

S:Whaaaaat? You maaaaad max?

M: ADAM GET BACK HERE!

B: APPLE APPLE APPLE

L: Hey Ross, I have a question for you......Do you sleep in trees?

R:No....why?

L: Well....you being a sloth kinda made me curious..

R: FOR THE LAST TIME IM A NARWHALE!

We ended up with Max chasing Sky, Ross chasing Laurence, Aaron silent, Katelyn and Garroth laughing and Jin smacking his forehead.

When we arrived at school, we parted ways to get ready for our first set of classes. 

Even after the Orientation, I still don't know my way around. Google Maps can't really help me inside the school, sadly. 

I heard a deep familiar voice, and for the first time, didn't want to hear it.

"Hey......lost?" I turned around to meet the occupier of the voice, Aaron, who was wearing his regular hoodie and black pants. 

He had a small smile on. 

"I'm fine, I told you." I snapped, with a bit more hostility. I ran off down the hallway, my hair blowing in my face inconveniently so I couldn't see where I was going. I heard Aaron, faintly calling my name, his voice fading as I ran randomly further as my young, inexperienced had no idea how to go about these emotions that overwhelmed me.

Just as these thoughts left my head, I suddenly collided with an unfortunate passerby, causing me to fall down, yet again. Shocking. 

My books splashed across the floor, again. 

I hit the cold, hard floor with the pain exploding in the areas that caught myself when I fell down. 

In a school setting, I had never felt that before, because there was always a certain someone to catch me.

I sweep my hair away once again to see the passerby was a tall, limber, pale guy. 

He had dark hair swept down his forehead and had a few freckles adorning his cheeks.

"I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed, my face exploding red with the embarrassment this time. 

"Heh, it's okay, it was as much my fault as it was yours. My name is Gene, by the way."

"Aphmau....." I managed out. I wasn't stuttering as much as I did with Aaron. 

The bell rung cut off our potential conversation, the kids around us bustling around faster to avoid getting a tardy.

"Well, I got to get to class, see ya around, kitty." (watch PDH to understand)

He didn't even help me pick up my stuff.

I head to my first class, AP Calc.

Uuuuuuuggggghhhh, look what being a nerd gets me.

I entered the classroom and by that time, everyone was already seated in their little cliques. 

The only available seat was next to...Aaron.

I let out a big sigh and plump myself down on the uncomfortable chair in a haphazard manner.  

Throughout the class, I try to pay attention for two reasons. 

To pass the class and to pass Aaron trying to talk to me. 

I could tell he was feeling down. 

Good, that's what I wanted.

Is it?

When the bell rang, I immediately ran out of the classroom. 

The teacher started yelling at me, but I didn't care. 

My best friend broke my heart. 

I know that he never really showed it, but he did show enough evidence to prove to me he was playing me. 

The...whole...damn..time.........
