Katelyn's POV

Aphmau came out of depression. She smiles alot now. 

Her and Aaron are back together.

What Aaron did.....

Max never did something like that for me............

I remember seeing Aaron talking to Principle Zoey as I walked to my seat.

I was sitting next to Max and having a small argument about....I can't even remember what when the music came on..

Everyone in the crowd turned to Aaron as he began to sing........

The look on Aphmau's face was priceless.

When they kissed everyone cheered, we all clapped and wooed and awed at the beautiful couple.

Luckily I didn't see Lily or Gene, I know they were behind them breaking up in the first place...

I closed the door to Aphmau's house and start to walk home. 

The wind blowing my blue hair towards my back. 

I smile and enjoy the wind pushing against me. 

Trying to win.

I hear a ding from my pocket and pull out my phone.

I notice its from Max, it says

We need to talk

Oh no, thats not good

When I reach Max's house, I ring the doorbell, Max opens the door with a solemn look on his face.

"Come in."

I come in with a concern look on my face and knit my eyebrows. 

I plop on the couch, pulling my hair over my shoulder.

"Whats wrong Max?"

"....Katelyn..."

He sits next to me and grabs both my hands in his, rubbing his thumb up and down my wrist.

"I saw the way Aaron and Aphmau act, how they hug, how they laugh, how they kiss and I...I.."

He starts to tear up. 

I let a tear run down my face, confused and scared.

"I..I...thought by staying with you longer would let me love you like that but.....I just....don't.."

I open my mouth and start to sob.

"I'm sorry Katelyn..I"

"NO...." I scream. He looks at me weird.

"You are not sorry.......you...you...jerk...you think you can just break up with me like that..HUH!?"

He opens his mouth to speak and I cut him off.

"i'm leaving...and I NEVER want to see you again! YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME! AT LEAST AARON ACTUALLY LOVES APHMAU! YOU...YOU....AAHH"

I snatch my bag up and stomp out of his room, slamming his door.

I run out of his house and just ran in the direction of Aphmau's house, sobbing and looking down.

I smash into someone. My legs get tangled and I fall on that someone.

I open my eyes to see I was an inch away from Travis's lips.

We both blush red and stand up. 

He notices my tear riddled face. 

"Katelyn...whats wrong?" He asked, knitting his eyebrows together.

I do something I would not normally do. 

I smash my forehead on his shoulder and cry. 

My tears staining his marine hoodie. 

He wraps his arms around me, bringing me into a hug.

"There Katelyn...there..there...let me take you to Aph's..."

I pull away from his shoulder and nod and we walk towards Aph's house.

Lucinda's POV

*Play Song*

I brought the duster up and down the corner of the cabinets of my potion shop.

Phew...I should take a break....I should go get a coffee....

I walk out of the store and lock the door and turn over the OPEN sign to CLOSED.

The evening wind of summer was upon me. 

My mom was giving me a trial run with the family potion shop so in the future I can take over.

I threw my long orange hair over my shoulder and stroll towards the cafe around the corner.

When I open the door, the smell of fresh-baked pastries and hot coffee over flood my nose. 

I go and stand in line. Ugh I hate lines! 

There is always that one guy that orders everything and the barista is taking forever to copy down  the order.

SOME OF US JUST NEED SOME DECAF!

When I finally get to the counter, I ask for a decaf coffee with lots of whip cream.

And I mean...LOTS of whip-cream.

He asks for my name and I say Lucinda.

He hands me the coffee and I read the name.

I go and sit at one of the small tables near the window and stare out the window, I think of when Aaron sang to Aphmau at the graduation, if only Laurence would do that for me...

STOP THAT HE IS YOUR FRIEND!

I have had feelings for Laurence for a while now and I think that he likes me too.

I remember the kiss we had at the slumber party.

A hefty voice interrupts my thoughts. 

Oh no...it can't be...

Ivan....

"Lucinda....long time no see...."

I dated Ivan a year ago but found out he cheated on me so I broke up with him.

"What do you want Ivan?...A cough drop maybe?"

"Don't play games with me Lucinda....It was an accident.."

"Right so your lips just magically fell on hers?" (notice the pun hehe)

 "Lucinda come on...give me another chance.."

"NO IVAN..the only thing I'm going to give you is a recommendation for a cardiologist"

"Lucinda.."

"leave her alone.."

I turned around and saw Laurence.

He did not look happy.

"heh...who are you suppose to baaaa" (baaa baa black sheep have you any wool?)

"And who are you to disobey this lady's requests.." Laurence responds, hostility laced in his words.

"This isn't your business.."

"Well yes it is....because...because.....Lucinda is my girlfriend.."

My eyes widen and I blush red.

Ivan growls and says

"This isn't over"

He shuffles away as it leaves Laurence and I.

"I'm sorry I.." He starts, but I interrupt him.

"no you helped me there..."

He just stares into my eyes and I stare into his.

He leans closer and so do I.

Our lips meet and shock waves move through my body.
