My heart stopped.

My body still.

My legs gained the inability to move.

My brain exploded with a million questions,

But no words came out.

The junior stared up at the senior, her head still having to tilt up at a 45-degree angle, despite the minor age difference.

Though no words emerged from my mouth, a few came from him.

"You have a beautiful voice," He said, giving me his iconically sly smile.

"So do you........I MEAN IT WAS BEAUTIFUL IN THE MEANS THAT IS SOUNDED NICE!" I exclaimed as I tried to save myself from the hole I had dug for myself, embarrassed and blushing.

He chuckled a bit at my dismay. I grinned slightly, trying to not expose my blushing face. I tilted my head down and studied at our feet.

I felt something hook my chin and tilted my head back up and I blushed more if it were possible.

I had been waiting for this moment since 5th grade. I had known him since second grade but started to develop feelings for him at the start of 5th grade. I've had boyfriends and been on dates but none of those boys compared to him. And when I moved away, my heart was broken, I thought I would never see him again, but here we are. 

We just stood there, looking to each others eyes, not making any movements...

Why wasn't he kissing me?

"MIJA GO TO BED! YOU HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW AND I WANT YOU TO BE FRESH FOR YOUR FIRST DAY!"

Mom.........(everyone is always ruining aarmau moments!)

Aaron drew his hand back to his side and gazed one last time into my hazel eyes with his black ones. He waved goodbye awkwardly and left down the hallway and down the stairs.

He hooked my chin! I thought hopefully.

But he didn't kiss me.

All this time we had spent together, he didn't take the chance.  

Maybe he doesn't have feelings for me.

For the first time in forever (try and guess that reference) I had lost something I will soon to regret losing.
