5 years...
5 years ago today...
We were last together...
Smiling and laughing...
Yet sad on the inside that we were leaving one another.
We said our goodbyes and I watched you go down the escalator.
Little did I know what you had in mind...
When you climbed back up the escalator I was in a state of confusion as to what you were doing.
That was when you changed my way of life.
The way I think.
The way I act.
The way I live in general.
Most importantly it opened up the way I have always felt about you.
All from a simple action such as a kiss.

I use to always be confused as to what it was you made me feel. So I did what I thought was right and push it behind me. Yet every time I did that...it always came back stronger. I mean I thought what we had was just a simple friendship. There was always something more to it than that though. I wish I had noticed sooner what you felt. What I felt. Maybe then we wouldn't be separated from each other.
Maybe then we would've been something different.
Maybe then my heart wouldn't be empty and broken...
How I try to put it away for good, but it keeps craving you. My heart it wants you and only you. You make me feel different.

How I wish I could go back then.
Back then before you left to Hoenn.
Before I left to kanto.
To the day before when you were thinking about what to do.
How I wish I had invited you to journey along with me and see what's new.
How I crave you....
As I think this to myself, a tear drops down my face. What could've been...no what should've been is now down the gutter and it's all my fault. How blind I was to not have seen such strong and pure emotion.
I miss you...
I want you...
I need you...
I love you...
