Jia startled up from the sudden sound of a siren that hallowed throught the whole hospital.

Her prior fear was followed by a feeling of joy.

"They are coming...", she said to herself and smiled weakly, "they'll be save..."

Jongdae, who was sleeping next to her like a baby now woke up as well and snuggled to my shoulder, not knowing what was going on.

"Make it stop, I'm tired...", he sighed weakly at my neck and a shiver ran down my spine. Lovingly I turned around to him and swung my arms around him, even if I didn't dare to touch his skin, to not infect him with this illness that had spreaded through the hospital.

She always tried to convince him to sleep on the floor, but as he insisted on sleeping by her side so relentlessly, she had given in.

"You'll be fine.", she whispered and didn't expect him to respond in his little doze. My eyes wandered over his slighlty opened lips and the eyes, he desperately tried to keep open. I won't let anything happen, that could hurt him, she sweared to myself another time.

Baekhyun would be save too, she remembered. She already forgave him, even if she haven't told him yet. He was so precious to her, she hadn't even had time to notice that the last weeks.

She just hoped, all of them would be save.

Bo.

Her weak smile faded and she squinted at the little boy in the bed on the other side of the room. He was lying in the arms of his mother, who was awake and watched over the little child.

When the siren started again, Jongdae suddenly sat up next to me and looked around und with wide eyes.

"What was that?", he asked her in shock and I patted his shoulder softly.

"You'll be fine."

"Wait? Does that mean.."

"Shh.."

He totally freaked out, like she had expected and she sat up next to him to hold him tight in my arms.

"They will bring you and Baekhyun home."

"I.."

"You'll be save."

"I..."

"I won't die I promise!"

"But..."

"We will see each other again.."

Aggressively he through away the blanket and jumped out of the bed to scream at Jia.

"But I promised you to never leave your side, and I don't break my promises."

"And if I tell you to leave?"

"I won't...."

"Chen, please, you wouldn't make anything better if you would get ill too."

"BUT I LOVE YOU!"

Surprised Jia looked up at him and watched his desperate expression. She never thought about it that way, but now that he suddenly told me, my cheeks blushed a little. The woman shook my head confused to get those thoughts out of her mind and pouted.

"Can't you hide me somewhere?"

For a moment Jia was imagining how it would be, if they would stay with them. They always were the ones that kept her alive in this mess.

But when she faced his begging eyes, she shook this thoughts off. Jia still had Bo and Liling, and what she really wanted, was to keep everyone else save and alive.

"No way!"

Jongdae flipped at her words and grabbed her petite hand harshly, hoping he could change Jia's mind that way. His eyes pierced deep into her soul and she tried hard to not choke up.

"I. Won't. Leave. You.", he angrily hissed into the woman's face, and his sad eyes supported this sentence.

No chance.

After she had convinced herself, that he had loosened his grip around her arm, Jia glanced at the red button that was hanging over her bed, which would call the doctors.

When she felt like he didn't notice, she pulled herself out of his hands and ran over to her bed.

"I will escape the police anyways.", Jongdae stated silently as Jia wanted to press the button.

"Not if I tell them to take care of you."

With that words the woman stepped closer to the button and wanted to press it, but before her hands could reach it she was pulled back and found herself lying in Jongdaes arms, with him staring passionately down at her.

What did he..?

"I love you.", he whispered silently down at her surprised face.

But then his face expression changed from super caring to profoundly convinced. And Jia couldn't do anything but try to reach the button anyways.

All of a sudden her action was stopped by him leaning in closer to the woman and kissing her soft lips in despair.
Her eyes closed and her legs felt like they couldn't hold her weight anymore. Luckily Jongdae had his strong arms swung around her waist and held her safe in his arms. A tear ran down Jia's cheeks. Everything felt so real, so beautiful, too beautiful.

She had missed that feeling so much, that she forgot how it really felt.

The feeling of being at home.

Slowly she moved her lips and tried to feel as much of his love as possible.
His strong hand on her cold neck and his sweet scent that suddenly surrounded her made her feel safe.

But it was all a dream, she remembered and jumped back to place her index finger on the red button that was hanging over her bed.

"I'm sorry", she whispered, when Jia saw the tears in Jongdae's eyes.

"But I love you too..."
