We get to Chad's house, and I go upstairs to the room I'm staying in. I toss my bag on the floor, and throw myself on the bed.

I get my phone out and text Alan.

We just got home, and I'm kinda tired. Maybe I'll come home tomorrow.

I send it and almost instantly get a response.

Okay princess. I love you.

I don't reply to the text, I just set my phone on the bedside table. There's a knock on my door, and I reluctantly open it.

"Hey Chadster," I sigh. He ruffles my hair, "Heyo sour patch kid. You okay?" I nod, "Yep all good here, I'm just gonna watch some Disney Channel."

"Okay, if you get hungry just lemme know. I'll be playing my racing game," he says, closing the door.

I turn the TV on, and switch it to Disney Channel, Austin & Ally is on, so I watch it.

I watch a couple episodes, and my phone buzzes, a text from Chad.

Dinner's ready aka I ordered a pizza

I laugh, and walk slowly down the stairs. Chad purposely ordered my favorite type of pizza, pineapple and ham. I grab a paper plate, and put the pizza on it.

I sit down next to Chad, and he grins. "Glad ya joined me today. I was gettin' kinda lonely since Fallon's out of town." I shrug, "I have nowhere else to go."

He raises an eyebrow, "You sure about that?" I nod, "I yelled at Alan, and I was gonna go back today, but I got scared, then I yelled at Caleb."

"What does that have to do about not having a place to go?" Chad asks. I shrug, not knowing how to respond.

"Caleb and Alan both love you," Chad tells me. "Yeah, but I can't go back now. I yelled," I inform him.

Chad doesn't reply, just quietly munches on his pizza. I finish my pizza, throw the plate away, and try to get back upstairs. Chad stops me.

"Mia, come here please," he says softly. I follow him to the couch, and sit next to him. He pulls me up on his lap. "Hey beautiful, look at me," he tilts my chin upwards so our eyes are locked.

"Don't you ever doubt that one of us loves you. We do, no matter what. No matter what we say, or how we act, we still love you no matter what," he says, lightly kissing my forehead. I nod, "Okay."

I climb off his lap, and make my way upstairs and into the guest room. After being lost in thought for about twenty minutes, I hear a knock at the door.

"Wanna watch a flick with me?" Chad asks. I nod, "What flick we watchin'?"

"Mary Poppins," Chad replies. I shrug, grab my fuzzy afghan, and follow Chad downstairs. He puts the DVD in, and we settle in with a bowl of popcorn.

I lay my head on Chad's chest, and he puts his arm around my shoulder. I attentively watch the movie like its my first time watching it, even though I've seen it dozens of times.

I quietly sing along to the songs, and I'm having fun. My phone buzzes, and it's Caleb. I reluctantly leave the room and answer it.

M- Hey.

C- Hey kiddo, you busy?

M- No.

C- Can we talk?

M- Sure.

C- You know I love you, right?

M- Yes.

C- You didn't have to leave. I'm not mad.

M- I know.

C- Mia, honey, I know you think you're going to lose us. You're not. I love you. No matter what, I'm not going anywhere.

M- Okay.

C- You at Chad's?

M- Yes.

C- Okay, be careful, stay strong, I love you.

M- Bye.

I hang up the phone, and go back to my spot on the couch with Chad. He pauses the movie, and turns to look at me. "Who was on the phone?"

"The ringtone was Mario music, who do you think it was?" I shoot back. He chuckles, "Yeah. Did you talk to him any?" I shake my head, "Not really."

Chad heavily sighs, "You need to Mia, you really do." I shake my head, "I can't, I just can't okay." The tears come to both Chad and I.

It's impossible for one of us to comfort the other because of the tears streaming down our faces.

Chad eventually takes his thumb, and brushes all my tears away. "I love you sour patch kid," he whispers. I nod, "I love you too Chadster."
