I woke up to Clem's voice, just like everyday. Yesterday hits me in the face and I cover my face and sigh loudly. "Sunny! Please wake up now! You have to see this!" I hear Nami yell while banging on my door. I swing my door open and see her bawling her eyes out, "What?!" I ask in fear, she grabs my arm and starts to drag me down stairs, as we get closer to the main lounge I hear people screaming, sobbing, and just plain panicking.

When we enter the living room Kino and Demi tackle me into a hug. Demi is crying and Kino is holding back anger, as they pull away from the hug I see that everyone, and I mean, everyone! Was in the lounge staring at the small T.V on the floor, Kino drags me to the television and I stare at the news reporter who is standing outside a big metal gate, along with Batowl, Early bird, Batcoon, and The Squeaker. "So to the people watching at home, could you explain more about this place." The reporter points to the gates, Batowl nods and opens the gates. Him his team and the news team walk through the gates and what I see makes me drop to my knee's.

"As you can see, there are many different enclosures." Behind the gates there were cages that looked as though they were from the circus, and inside all of them there was a big cat. People behind me screamed for mercy before Batowl continued to walk with the news team. "Each and everyone of these cats are separated from each other. Even babies and mothers." I looked behind me and saw people turning into their big cat forms and start roaring and growling. The news team walked over to a cage with Early bird, the camera zoomed in on what was in the cage, it was a small lion cub. "As you can see they all have a special collar around their necks, I created the collars so that the cats will not be able to turn into their human forms." Early bird entered the cage and on instinct the baby lion ran into the corner of the cage, Early bird picked him up by the loose skin on the back of his neck and then exited the cage and held the poor baby in front of the camera. "As you can see, the collars will give them a big shock if they become to rough or try to escape. The park is open and is free to the public. Since it is the grand opening me and my team will be wandering around the park answering any questions people may have.-"

The T.V was shut off by an angry female cheetah, People went crazy and started screaming and talking, while some started to break down and sob. "Sunny." A hand fell onto my shoulder, I looked and saw Kino. He nodded and grabbed me running out the front door, he went into his truck and put a two pair's of sunglasses into a satchel then he turned into his lion form. His golden brown fur sparkled in the early morning light and his brown black main swayed down to his stomach, the satchel hung around his body and he had a very menacing look in his eyes. He opened his mouth and roared as loud as he could alerting some big cats to come outside, "I am going to that park and whoever wishes to join me may follow." Some of the big cats went back inside, but me and Kino were going to be joined by a black panther, cheetah, bobcat, and three mountain lions.

Kino started to trot while the others followed, I turned into my tiger and gained a few gasps and a few complements I heard people yell from the warehouse. I trotted next to Kino while the others followed behind, Kino stopped and let out a low growl before he started running, me and the others followed. "So, you must be sunny?" A mountain lion asked running up next to me, "Yeah." I yell as the wind is blowing through all our ears, "I must say my dear you have beautiful fur!" The cheetah yelled, "you too!" I yelled back to her.

As we approached the city Kino came to a halt. Everyone stopped and started panting heavily except the cheetah who tagged along. "My lung's are on fire!" The panther gasped, I coughed and turned human, so did everyone else. "Take a pair everyone." Kino wheezed taking sunglasses from his bag, everyone put on theirs, after I put mine on I went to put my hair up into a pony tail but I didn't bring a hair tie. The cheetah saw me search my pockets and jumped into action, "here, let me  help you." She pulled out a hair tie and put my hair up, "thanks." I smiled, "No problem, my name is Zulo." She smiled back. "I'm Sunny." "Hush everyone!" Kino whisper yelled, we all looked over to the big metal gates, "Stay together and try not to break down." He says while he begins walking to the front. We follow behind and as we enter I was immediately angered. Big cats were in cages with very little food and water, people were laughing at them, they were pointing, and even taking pictures with the flash on. "Stay calm please." Kino says as we walk farther into the park.

I stared at a lioness for a second and when I looked forward Kino and the others were out of my sight. I began to panic before I saw Zulo walking towards me, I sighed and hugged her when she was close enough. "Kino said that you and me should try to learn something." I nodded and walked twords the lioness' cage, she growled at me, I pulled my sunglasses down a little and then pushed them back up. She walked to the front of the cage and laid down panting as she looked at me with sadness. I growled at her trying to communicate but all I got back were growls. Me and Zulo looked at each other in confusion, "can't you speak?" I asked, she pawed the tight collar around her neck. "Does that prevent you from being able to speak?" I asked, she nodded. "I am so sorry." I sniffled, I put my hand through the bars and pet her soft fur. "Miss, you shouldn't be touching the cats. They could kill you." I knew that voice, me and Zulo turned and saw Batowl looked at us, "Sorry! I, um, they just look-" "Ugly right?" Batowl laughed, I laughed awkwardly and leaned into Zulo's built frame. "Well we should be going." Zulo grabbed my hand but Batowl stopped us, "Before you go can my friend smell you, he said there was a strange aroma from somewhere in the park." I saw Taxman coming up from behind Batowl, the lioness suddenly made a sound, and Kino was suddenly next to me along with the others. "I'm sorry, but we have to get back to our house." Kino Said puffing out his chest, Taxman crinkled his nose and Batowl went to grab a small gun. "Sis, I'm sorry." One of the mountain lions said to another before he turned into his mountain lion form and started running farther into the park. We gasped like we were surprised, "That traitor!" Zulo yelled, "You didn't know?" Batowl asked, "No! He said he was a greyhound!" The panther yelled. We looked at the mountain lion when more of the hero's shot guns at him, nets protruded out of the guns and wrapped around him. When Batowl and Taxman ran to the scene we fled as quickly as we could.

We ran back to the warehouse and the female mountain lion turned into a human and started to cry, the other mountain lion grabbed her into a hug, then a woman ran out of the warehouse and said 'I saw the news.' Before she grabbed the others and started crying. "Families are being broken." Kino whispered as he grabbed my hand. We entered the warehouse and went straight to my room, I locked the door and turned around to see him sitting on my bed. I sat in front of him before he spoke, "what did you and Zulo find out?" "The collars prevent them from talking in anyway." I rub my face with my hands, he grabbed my face and turned into a lion, I turned into a tiger and rub against his face, "How did you come so quickly when she made that sound?" I asked, "It was a sound that the females make when they are distressed ore in need of help." He bites at my neck and I roll over onto my back, "I remember when you were younger and we would do this." He laughed sadly and laid down. "Doesn't being scared let you know you're onto something important?" I ask, Kino hum's. "Are you asking me or is that your good night quote?" He asks, "kind of both." I reply, "well I guess being scared could mean that." he puts one of his paws around me. "Well everything worth doing starts off with being scared." I say, "ain't that the truth." Kino says before we both close our eyes drifting off to sleep.
