I looked over at the doors, the sound of shouting men adding to the gun shots.

"Okay, what the heck?" The red hair girl said, standing up.

"This is not how I wanted to go with my summer," Elizabeth complained, gripping onto her small bag.

I slowly walked over to the doors, reaching for the handles. Before I could get a grip on it, Darmen grabbed my wrist. "Bruce, I wouldn't recommend doing that."

I snatched my hand away from him. "Come on, aren't you a bit curious?"

He shook his head, then looked at me. "I'd rather stay in here where it's safe then risk our lives."

"Agreed!" Jacey said, hugging her sister. "And they're kids, we shouldn't open the doors if there are gun-" "AH!" A shout interrupted Elizabeth, making us all freeze.

There was a long silence.

"I'm opening it, cover them," I said to Darmen.

He surprisingly didn't fight back, but went to the two girls, reassuring them.

I got a hold of the two handles, opening the doors.

My eyes widened at the scene that stood before me. Corpses were scattered in various places, guns scampered across the ground, and then, walking corpses.

One of the many walking corpses began limping over to the doors, but I shut them tight before it did anything, the creature beginning to bang at the door.

"That's it!" The red haired girl shouted, taking out a set of katanas.

"How were you hiding those!?" Elizabeth shouted.

The girl didn't respond, but opened the door back up, slicing at the thing. "Start the car!"

Darmen quickly got into the driver seat, looking at the buttons and such around him.

"Just drive!" I finally shouted, the car jolting forward.

"What about Her?" Elizabeth said, pointing to the girl, who was facing the creatures.

"Keep going," I told to Darmen, jumping out of the vehicle.

As I stood up, I looked back at the truck, which soon disappeared from sight. I then looked over at the girl...

Or run?

If Bruce hadn't open the doors, the red hair girl would've, nothing much.
