Chapter 2: Fight
I wasn't about to let this guy take me on!
I punched him right at his chin, making him fly back.
As he landed on the ground I got up and ran.
I heard the sound of my phone dropping behind me, but I don't care, I'm outta here!
I looked behind me and saw he was gone, and I mean, no trace of him whatsoever.
Before I could look forward, I bumped into someone else, crashing butt first onto the concrete. I looked up and saw a man with a blue uniform and helmet covering his face.
"I need you to go inside, we're closing off the area," He said, getting me up with my arm.
A bunch of other of these men ran past me, with loaded guns in their hands. The man in front of me began to walk, an arm behind my back as he guided me to a blue truck.
"Where do you live?" He asked me, stopping in front of the back.
"Down the block, building 6943, number 10."
He nodded to me, opening the back. Inside were other kids around my age. Some had bandages, while others were sitting in fright.
He gestured me to go in, which I did, sitting next to a girl with red hair.
He looked at us and slammed the doors closed, patting on the truck for the driver to begin driving.
We all sat in silence as we drove off.
"So, what happened with you guys?" I asked, breaking the silence.
The first to respond to me was a girl with blue hair. She was currently wearing a dress that was white with some flower designs on it, beside her was a bag that said, 'liz.'
"I was at the park, but then they 'escorted' me out," She said, rolling her eyes after.
"I was simply walking, nothing else," Another one said, his hair was more pink than red, his bright electric blue eyes darting around the room.
I looked over to one of the girls with a bandage around her arm, another one comforting her.
"How about you two?" The blue haired girl asked the two.
"Well, my sister and me were playing when some mister attacked us," She growled, hugging her sister, who was crying.
"God, just suck it up, it's just a scratch," The red haired girl next to me said, crossing her arms in annoyance.
"Be polite!" Liz shouted, standing up.
She rolled her eyes. "Polite isn't exactly my, 'middle name'."
"No kidding miss," The boy said, putting on his glasses.
We then sat in silence, until the car stopped.
The doors opened as a different guy said, "Alleyway Isle?"
One of the other kids, who didn't talk to us, stood up, walking out.
The guy closed the doors as he escorted the boy in.
"I'm Bruce," I said.
"Elizabeth," The blue one cheered, shaking my hand happily.
"Darmen, nice to meet you," The pink/red boy said, nodding to me.
"I'm Jacey, this is my sister Cloey," The black haired girl said, gesturing to the short brown haired girl in her arms.
Before anyone could continue, the sounds of guns were heard being shot.
This is your time to choose. Should Bruce open the doors and see, or wait?
If Bruce hadn't had fought back, he would've been saved by the men, and he would have still had his phone, which he could've used to call his parents, but, he would have been scratched.
Choose, because this decision maybe the hardest so far, good luck~
