Hello people!

Welcome to my fourth full length book. This is also my first try at writing a fantasy novel. I didn't think fantasy was my thing,  but I had this idea which refused to leave my brain so here it is.

This book will hopefully be a little longer than my previous ones. I really want this to be good so I will be trying to create some in depth characters and worldbuiling and stuff like that. Mostly I'll be using flashbacks to develop the characters and build their backstories.

So here's the trigger warnings I know will be in the book. I'll probably put trigger warnings at the top of each chapter so you know what to expect. Here's the stuff that will be in the majority of the book though:

Murder- This is evident in the blurb but this is inspired loosly by the hunger games so there is murder.

Blood mentions - Again this might seem a little obvious but I know some people don't like that stuff.

Violence- This is pretty self explanatory.

Swearing- I feel like this really helps to make a character more relatable as we all swear from time to time.

Mental ilness- Specifically Anxiety and Post Truamatic Stress Disorder. I want to make you feel for these characters and want them to succeed. I also suffer with Anxiety myself and I've wanted to represent that in a book for a while now.

So that's everything. Now let's meet our cast. I still don't have fancy aesthetics and stuff so deal with some names and a quick description of their personality.

Kaiden Lynch- Kaiden is the twin brother of Raven. He is cocky, arrogant and he's very much seen as a monster by most people. He doesn't like his brother at all but he's in the ceremony for the reward, and to prove that not all monsters are evil.

Raven Lynch- Kaiden's brother. He's younger than Kaiden but sometimes acts more mature than him leading people to think he's the older twin. He's kind, quiet and generous. Most people don't associate him with his brother. He's the angel to his brother's demon.

Finley Castel- The mistake. As is thought by Kaiden. Finley is timid, shy and an anxious mess. He suffers from Anxiety and hates going outside and socialising. He also is very quick to trust people which sometimes ends up making a mess of things and causes him more harm than good.

Cadence Castel- Cadence is underestimated. Most people in the kingdom of Kyrah think that girls are always the weakest. Cadence is determined to prove them all wrong. But in order for her to do this, her brother needs to win the Ceremony and Cadence has no faith whatsoever.

So, there's our cast. We will meet other characters along the way. As well as learning about our character's families. But for now let's enter the kingdom of Kyrah and let the Ceremony begin.
