The SS Merlin

The SS Merlin is generally an explorer ship, but it also does research.

Main bridge:

This is where the captain and the main bridge crew run the ship. It is at the very front of the ship. Though there is a second one exactly like this on the other side in case of some sort of problems on the main bridge. Mostly, the crew uses magic to do things, but they also use the ship's computer to back it up and make certain everything is running smoothly.

Magic Core:

A 145 -cubic-foot magic sphere runs the engines and requires magic to change. However, sometimes it may get overwhelmed; when it does, it may be replaced with one of these ordinary muggle engines:

But it can only be replaced at impulse speed or lower; try to do it at warp speed, the whole ship could blow up.

Sick bay:

It's basically St. Mungo's but smaller, more advanced, and has muggle technology (just to be thorough).

Shuttle Bay:

There's literally nothing to it; this is where they keep the shuttle bays and emergency escape pods.

Transporter Room:

Used to teleport people to planets and other ships.

*Note: you can't apostate on a starship; you'll probably end up in space and die because the ship goes hundreds of miles a minute even on impulse.*

Potion Room:

This is where we make potions. That's all there is to it.

Ship Cafeteria:

The Merlin has food replicators in every living quarters, of course, but some people like dining out, so they have a large cafeteria that also includes a continuous open mic where anyone can go up and do music, comedy, poetry, and much more!

The Library:

Contains millions of books magic and non-magic from all sorts of cultures! Has a globe that changes into whatever planet they were last orbiting, or whatever planet they are currently orbiting.

Rec Room:

That's all there is to it; it's just a place to let loose and have fun when you're not on duty.

The Living Quarters:

It's all in a row. These are the family quarters as well as the Senior Officers' quarters.

This is the other option:

That one is one-person only.

And if course, regardless which one you have, interior decoration is up to you!

The Hallways:

Each person has a password to get into their quarters; they concentrate on it and walk right through the wall into their quarters.

There are also holodecks on decks 7, 17, and 70, and they are just like the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts.
