"Fluttershy, wait!" Twilight Sparkle darted in front of her, staring at Fluttershy in horror, starting tearing up. "You killed Applejack?!" She yelled as the pale pony directed her face towards her. "Of course I did," the pegasus retorted. "All work, no play." Twilight had tears streaming down her face at Fluttershy's harsh words. "H-How c-could you?! We thought she was lost!" She sank to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably, not hearing Celestia's words: "It's time to let her go Twilight."

"Twilight! Twilight!" The magenta alicorn shook her head into wakefulness. "You were crying in your sleep again," Spike stammered. Twilight sniffed, and drew Spike into a close hug. Spike closed his eyes. "I know Applejack's death was shocking, and Fluttershy murdering her was even more shocking, but-" Twilight choked, interrupting the purple dragon's kind words. "-You have to stay strong." Twilight stopped hugging Spike and held him in her hooves, staring at him. "I know Spike. I know." She whispered the last words. She frowned and tears plopped onto Spike's forehead. Spike patted her back. "I'll get you some hot cocoa. You need to get some rest." Making up his mind, he nodded and left the room, closing the door. Twilight buried her face in the pillows. Drawing the bed covers over her, she wiped the tears from a hoof, and silently fell asleep again.

Twilight's emotions took control as she sunk to the ground. Fluttershy smiled and quickly grabbed her knife, and just before the blade sliced into Twilight's neck, a golden aura lifted the knife and burned it to ashes. Fluttershy turned around and spat in Celestia's face. Wiping her mouth, she turned around in circles, now surrounded as Twilight stood up shakily, but her eyes filled with control and determination. Her eyebrows narrowed as sweat dropped from her forehead. Fluttershy's eyes widened in fear, as she stood rooted to the ground, Celestia glaring at her from behind. A ring of fire erupted from Twilight's horn, and spread around the Canterlot gardens. At that same moment, a magenta shield was cast around Celestia and Twilight, protecting them from fire. Fluttershy recoiled, trapped by licking flames of fire. The fire suddenly burst into a white and blue colour, engulfing Fluttershy. She wailed in defeat as the flames took her to the outskirts of Equestria.

"Fluttershy!" Twilight gasped, her eyes wide open, her hoof outstretched. She rubbed her eyes that were blocked with sleep, and decided to take a shower, seeing she was in a mess. After her shower, she took a brush in her hooves and started to brush her mane. Her magic was useless now, her spells faded into the back of her mind. What Twilight had discovered had shocked her so much, the spell she cast on Fluttershy had weakened her terribly. This was all over the Equestrian newsletter: Element of Honesty lost; Fluttershy convicted murderer? The knots in Twilight's mane were like the knots in her heart. The scars on her body were like the ones in the soul. The darkness in her eyes were as blackened as Nightmare Moon's. She was thirsty for revenge. But who was to blame?

Needless to know, somepony else wanted revenge. On Twilight.
