My sister and I are still bored so now we're doing writing so here is a ryuk x misa because we have lost our minds.

Deadly Love

Misa looked up, and saw Ryuk flying towards her. She smiled happily at the sight of the familiar shinigami approaching her. Surely, he'd assist her in remembering Ryuzaki's name!

Just wait, Light, Misa thought gleefully, I'm going to kill Ryuzaki for you, and we can finally be together!

"Hyuk, hyuk, looks like Light's plan worked," Ryuk commented, touching his large feet on the ground.

Misa was so ecstatic at seeing him that, completely ignoring the shinigami's fearful appearance, she launched herself up and wrapped her thin arms around his neck. She wasn't entirely sure what had spurred her to this display of affection, but stayed like that for a while anyway.

Ryuk appeared to blush and stuttered that he was shy around girls. He willed his physicality away and Misa phased through him. She fell on her bottom rather ungracefully, but shook it off.

"Ryuk, I wanna make the eye deal," she stated firmly.

Ryuk, although refusing to betray it, was completely incredulous. This girl had already given up half her life, and now she was going to do it again? He almost wished that he had someone that loved him to the extent that Misa loved Light.

Unfortunately, he was a shinigami. He wasn't supposed to love in the first place, and even if he was, who could love a creature as gruesome as himself? Gelus had fallen in love, and look what that got him. No, he didn't care for Misa Amane at all. She was just another stupid human.

Still, he could try to protect her, "Are you sure you want to do that Misa? You already made it once, this'll cut your lifespan in half again."

"Yes Ryuk, I need to. I love Light so much, and if I can't kill Ryuzaki, then I'll have failed him. He'll be so disappointed," Misa lamented.

"Fine, it's done. Just don't blame me. And don't expect me to extend your life later."

"Thank you so much! Now I just need to find a way to see Ryuzaki again," Misa turned to her thoughts.

Ryuk sighed internally, that girl didn't deserve to be used by Light. She was far to sweet to be put through it. He followed her as she returned home to kill the criminals.

Ryuk sat on the bed next to Misa, who was on her stomach and kicking her legs. If it was possible for him to do, he smiled. At least, he did in his mind. Ryuk didn't care much for the human race, besides as entertainment, but a part of him wanted Misa's affection.

"Hmm, Ryuk, do you think Light will want to see me tomorrow?" She asked him, not turning around.

"Uh, sure."

"Yay! I'll tell him that I made the deal, and Light will be so pleased."

Even though it wasn't his place, Ryuk spoke up, "Have you ever realized that he doesn't care about you? You're just a tool to him."

"Ryuk, how could you say that?! Of course Light is in love with me, he has to be! Besides, even if he isn't, it doesn't matter. I still love him enough for the two of us," she chirped.

Ryuk couldn't help repeating his prior thought.

Light doesn't deserve her.
