The cops came to interrogate us, but mother took care of it. She asked them to come later, lying to them that I was sick and needed rest. Mother wasn't a bad person because she lied, she was simply protecting me. She said so herself.

Now she's worried and she's planning to keep me safe- to get us away from this town.
