"Seyi I'm coming for you oh, be hiding there. I'm not going to let you kiss me for five months straight. In fact sef we're breaking up." Tamilore yelled at no one in particular. She finished applying her clear Kylie Jenner lip gloss and then she adjusts her boobs; left, right and left again.
Her heels clanked softly against the marble floor with every graceful step she took, legs moving rhythmically; one after the other.
"Babe? Babe?" She called out to her dead, handsome boyfriend. Tamilore always preferred calling him natural names like babe or baby in contrast to most teenage girls using words like cuddly pie or the likes. "Maybe he went straight to the party." She concluded, oblivious to the well thought out crime that happened just five minutes ago in front of her room.
She picked her purse up from her dresser, stuffed it with mints, her lip gloss and a carry along mirror and then makes her way to the door to go and have the best time of her life; the silver purse glimmering on her left hand side.

Moses and Fadeke Barclays walked through the rooms of the Adenuga Villa with their heads held up high. Fadeke's nose was almost touching the ceiling as she strolled confidently alongside her fat, heavily bearded husband. She felt like the queen of the world in her red kaftan and overly made up face.
"Moses why did we come so early ah. Me I don't want to greet anybody." She said to her husband, a look of disdain on her face.
"Fadeke you know we have to do this, it's very important for the plan to fall in place you know we have to be on ground to oversee things." He whispered to his wife with his thick, gruff voice.
"Okay o I've heard you." She said with an eye roll. Fadeke always wore a frown anytime, anywhere with her large scar taking it's well deserved place on her wrinkly face. They walked through the kitchen, receiving greetings from the staff and other family members and although Fadeke kept a signature frown, she marveled at the success of Tamilore's parents and for that, she hated them.
"Mummy Ekaasan." Wura; a sickly girl Tamilore rescued went on her two knees and greeted greeted Fadek, head bowed as a sign of respect and maybe fear. She gazed at Fadeke and Moses with a knowing look as she waited for them to respond to her greeting.
"I hope you're doing but I brought you here for and not just eating food like the stupid glutton you are?" Fadeke quizzed the young girl. In between the hustle and bustle of the kitchen staff trying to get ready as well, their conversation was almost like a whisper.
Wuraola squinted her thin black eyes around the kitchen like a surveillance camera searching for criminals. The flat chested girl looked once, twice and the third time again; head moving around in a perfect 180 degree.
"Yes ma, I won't fail you." She said silently before she disappeared among the kitchen staff again.
"Fadeke don't you think we're being to hard on the girl? I mean she's just a kid now." Moses stopped as soon as they got to the entrance that led to the main bedrooms to question his wife.
Fadeke eyes him from his head all the way down to his peeling black leather sandals; wearing a look of disgust. Indeed he was disgusting. Moses walked like a man with an enlarged scrotum and his belly could house a family of six on days he didn't eat 'much'.
"Shut up joor." She hissed and continued walking.
"Honey wait up now." Moses started chasing her; if you could call it a chase though.
"Aunty Fadeke welcome I've been expecting y'all." Tamilore greeted the duo with a big smile as she was about to enter her mother's room.
"Shut up. Stupid girl, oniranu. Am I your mate that you're calling my name?" Tamilore paused in her tracks, confusion laced on her face.
"Am I even your mother's mate? Or because you're getting one fortune now you think you can be doing anyhow. Come on get out." She barked at her. Tamilore stayed rooted to the spot, unsure of what to do. On one hand she wanted to walk away from the wicked witch of the west and on the other, she wanted to talk to her mum. She looked at Moses for some silent advice but something about the floor suddenly became exciting to Moses.
"Be doing big girl because of money. Stupid thing. Something that we were the one that washed your bum bum." She continued yelling at her. Tamilore knew better than to give the older woman a reply.
"Sha pray that you can even spend the money. Oshi" Fadeke forgot why she came to the bedrooms in the first place and she just started walking away. Immediately, Moses followed behind leaving Tamilore to her thoughts.
She wondered why Aunty Fadeke was so keen on the money she was about to receive but she shrugged it off, returned her charming smile to her face and knocked on the door.
"Come in." A voice responded behind the door.
"Mummy, mummy look at your Peng baby girl." Tamilore started twirling around immediately she entered her mother's room, a big smile on her face.
"What have I told you like a million times baby girl?" The beautiful light skinned woman asked Tamilore with a knowing look.
"Fine fine." She said with a playful eye roll. "Atty see how Peng your baby girl looks." She added dryly.
Atinuke's face lit up immediately and they both burst into laughter. Atinuke's own was rather dry, her heart ached but she was powerless in the situation.
"You know you calling me mommy makes me feel old now Ahn ahnnn. Come here baby girl." She motioned for the younger woman to sit beside her on the king sized bed.
Tamilore was the splitting image of Atinuke. The same thin Asian like eyes she used to look at her daughter with so much admiration.
"You know Atty loves you and no matter what, always remember that." she pulled Tamilore closer in an embrace as she tried to fight the sad tears.
" Atty don't be said now today is the day, we're gonna party till we drop." She consoled her mum as she stands up from the bed.
"Tamilore get me my black red bottom from my closet please." Tamilore moved without hesitation and with her daughter out of sight, Atinuke did what she wanted to do.

The bright and prominent sun danced happily on the garden where Tamilore's party was being held. Music blared through the speakers at every corner and the allotted dance floor was already filled with teenagers for the after party.
The wild teenagers moved their bodies accurately to every song from rap to pop to RnB everybody eating and drinking like their life depended on it while the adults hung out inside eating expensive crackers and brilliantly prepared meat while sipping equally expensive vintage red wine.
"Tamilore I swear I'm jealous, I can't believe uncle Dele gave you a new IPhone. Me I'm still stuck with the X." Ifeoluwa Barclays wined.
"I know right, but he didn't even buy the color I wanted." Tamilore said as she rolled her eyes at her father's old age problems.
"My jammmm." A girl eating grilled goat meat and cheese with Tamilore and ife cooed; as she moved her body clad in a overly revealing red dress to Amaka by Tu Baba and peruzzi.
"Demilade your noise is much sha." Ife said.
"Please o am I suppose to be involving myself in rich people's problems ni? Us that we're using Tecno now we should go and jump inside gutter or what?" Demilade said playfully. She swayed her body again to the music like no one was watching and this one of the many reasons Tamilore loved her. She's not as rich as any of them not even close but she was fun, down to earth and sassy as hell.
"Guy better start begging me if you want to use my phone to take pictures o." Tamilore told Demilade who ignored the celebrant instead she continued drinking from her cocktail.
"Let's hear word jare. Proud thing." Ife rolled her eyes and hissed.
"you said?"
"Nothing." She answered Tamilore and walked away. Demilade just hissed and continued dancing.
"Babes have you seen seyi?" Tamilore asked Demilade- worried about the fact that seyi had been missing for over an hour.
"No oh am I the girlfriend ni?" She continued moving her body to the music non stop.
"He left my room the other time after-"
"Yeeeee." Demilade yelled her palms making it's way to her mouth to show surprise and excitement. "You guys have... Have... You've done it?" Her eyes widened in shock, excitement and curiosity. "Was it painful? Was he gentle? Did he hurt you? Aw baby is all grown up now." She pulled her into a hug but Tamilore pushed her away.
"Ode." She rolled her eyes. "Nothing happened joor. He just ruined my lip gloss and-" Demilade hissed immediately, cutting Tamilore short and then walked away; her flat behind trying to shake.
"You look absolutely stunning today dear." He kissed Tamilore's cheek and they both started walking away from the garden.

"Okay. Okay every body chillll." Demilade yelled for the party goers to stop. She had a personality that demanded respect with little or no effort and that gave her a place among the most important people. "Let's all toast to my Tammy, my ugly ode, the idiot of my life. People put your fucking hands together for queen Tamilore Adeyanju. That's right y'all, get you a best friend that hypes you properly.
"Where is Tamilore now?" She asked Ifeoluwa who just shrugged in response.
