Chapter 18-always a choice

"is that"?  "that's right". It was an image of my old boyfriend, Brad Foster. It then changed to him getting killed. it then showed the killer. "What"! I yelled. Descendant smirked. "you killed him"! I yelled. "yup, and that's not all". the image changed and it showed descendant throwing bombs at my house, blowing it up. "so EGGMAN didn't kill my family, it was you"! Descendant then shrugged his shoulders. "I also hired all those bad guys that attacked you before". he then showed a list of them. I can't believe it. it showed all of the bad guys who kidnapped me. scourge, striker, robot brad, even Jeff mingleton. "I thought they worked for eggman"? (I'm all confused now). "i told them to work for eggman, I got them all together". "I didn't want you to know who I was at the time". I then got really mad. "why descendant, why"? "I at least need to know that". descendant was silent. "I just hate you". he then gathered up his energy and shot it at me, but I quickly dodged it. I then used my chaos energy to blast him.   ~  we battled for a while. I then saw mother nature come up and was now face to face with descendant. "Descendant, enough"! descendant then turned around to face her all the way. "You stay out of this"! "I'm gonna make sure she pays for what she has done"! "you are done for. goodbye mother nature, for a 2nd time"! I then tapped him on the shoulder. "what"? he asked as he turned around to face me. "I hate you too". I then pulled out the orb and focused my power on it. it started absorbing descendant's powers and energy. "NO"! "YOU TRICKED ME"! he yelled. I took the orb from him. he then fell straight down and landed in the base. he was injured really badly. he saw .miracle and stood up. "I'm gonna kill you"! he screamed. Miracle held the chaos energy gun and shot him with it, in the chest. "not today". she said with a smirk.   ~ me and mother nature landed back in the base. I ran over to shadow, who was now unconscious. I tried to wake him up, but sadly......stayed knocked out. "Everyone is dead". I began to cry. "there is no hope for me now".   "maybe there is". said mother nature. she grabbed my arm and pulled me over to miracle. she handed me the orb. "if we destroy the orb, descendant will not not exist, and since he won't exist, he won't interfere with your life". I then smiled. "Great"! I then paused. "What's wrong"? "if you do this, you'll have your family back, your old boyfriend back, it will be like it never happened". I then looked at her with sorrow eyes. "I don't want my first life back". "I want my life with sonic and them". "descendant is the reason that I met them and that they are in my life at all". mother nature shook her head in understanding. "I see". she and miracle then held hands and focused their powers. two portals opened up. "Go through the 1st portal". "it will take you back to your life before you met descendant". "take the orb with you". "make sure to destroy it in there". "that way you have your life and memories with sonic and won't have to leave or worry about descendant , anymore'. I then hugged her and miracle tightly. "will I ever see you again"? she then smiled. "I'll always be around". "will I or you, remember me"? "of course". I then let go of them. "thank you mother nature and you too, miracle". I then entered the portal with one last wave goodbye. I then saw a powerful bright light and passed out.
