A gun goes off and in Scarlet direction. I run as fast as I can. As I run I think about all the times we had together. Her smile and laugh they light up my world. Without them, I would be in the dark alone again. I will never go back there again not that I have found my light. I will hold my light tight this time. Neven if it means I have to get hurt in order to save it. Here I stand in front of Scarlet. The bot got me in the leg. I feel no pain because now Scarlet is safe. That is all that matters.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see a man in a blue coat with a gun. The gun is pointed at Scarlet. No-no-no.BangScarlet no. I run as fast as my body will let me. It hurts from fighting. Scarlet is at less ten feet away from me. By the time I get there, I see my brother bleeding. I look closer and see that he got shot.

"He saved me. He got in front of me when the man when to shot me. He took the shot. It is all my fault if I had not been spacing out I would have seen the man! I am so sorry Jake so sorry."
(She turned into human form)

Scarlet started crying and saying sorry over and over. Shaking uncontrollably. This side of Scarlet I have not seen yet. I can't stand to see her this sad. Her eyes are no longer full of life or light. There are full of an ocean of sadness. I never want to link with someone because it can be painful. The heartache that comes with it is too high of a price. If you truly love someone you would never let them feel that heartache. That is why I got so mad when Jake told me he linked with Scarlet. Plus I love her and I have no chance now that they have a link. Jake why do you all way have to play a hero that is how you get hurt. Though I am proud that you saved Scarlet.
