I am sorry for being gone so long. Computer was not working so cannot work on chapter. So I tryed to make it extra long for you guys. Thank you for being patient and waiting . By the way this is the past where Hearts brother meets Scarlet . Hearts brother's name is Jake.

Jake P.O.V

*Huff huff*
I ran to the edge of the forest. The forest is ful of life and feels mystical. I like the feeling of mystical. There, 12 inches away is where this great feeling ends. I heard a little girls voice. I could feel her sadness. Like it was speeding through the woods. I felt drawn to this girl. So I found the girl crying on a big rock. She is dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. The yellow and light blue on her t-shirt and shorts are faded. Her long light color brown hair is all messy. Her eyes red and in pain for all her crying. Her leg has a big cut on it. The cut is long and bleeding.  The air around her felt cold and lifeless. The green grass around her is dying. The trees look dead and scary looking. The house behind her old and falling apart like her. I guess I must have been walking towards her because I there I am sitting next to her. At first, she did not see me. She then looked up at me. Little bright lights formed in her eye. I licked her hand and it is the moment I knew I like her. Her skin look fresher. Her cut healed and her clothes looked brighter. In all she look brighter. I look at her with a fanboy face. She started laughing. At is the first time I saw her smile. Her face went bright and happy. That is the way I always want it stay.

After that, we came best friends. I had to leave because I marked a human. I found out later that licking someone's hand is marking them. Now I am back for her. No one will stop me, not even my own brother.
