Kanari's POV

I was eating the food I made this early in the morning with everyone. I just used the ingredients in the fridge. Sakura: bro bro Shirogane-San isn't here! Yokune: Sakura Sakura she is gone! "Weird, I didn't think she would stay in her room even though the announcements were said." Koduro: How are you so sure? "Wild guess." ". . .Most likely dead." Kanjō bluntly called in from the hall, still walking. "Seriously! Where could she be?!" I stare at Kanjō in shock. "I'm being dead serious, Kanari - Chan. She's most likely dead. If she were sick, she most likely would've still tried to get her so we'd know she's not dead. If she hasn't shown up yet, she either somehow slept through that loud a** announcement, or she's dead." Kanjō stated. You could sense the unhumourous glare from the door frame, where you saw the deadpan on Kanjō's face. I'm surprised she would glare at me like that. (Never underestimate the Masuku!) Well at least I cooked all the body parts but I should still have mixed emotions. I feel disgusted, fear, anger, happiness, and stressed. "I never eat breakfast. I'll be in the gym running around or thinking to myself if you need me." Kanjō stated. (true story, I just drink milk for breakfast.) "Alright then! Bye Kanjō-Chan!" She is probably aware but that wont stop me from leaving. "Goodbye." After a while a day went by full of worries. Well I have to end this somehow so I ended up making a noose and hang— "Kanaaaari - Chaaaaan?" Kanjō or what sounds like Kanjō called from behind. I quickly hung ??? up then hide somewhere far. "Kanari - Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan? I just wanna discuss a few things about my 'fragile' humaaaaaan!" The voice sang. I manage to run to my room after hanging ??? then close the door before Kanjō sees me. "The actual Kanjō is passed out from falling from how high she ended up climbing, and I'm not even sure how she did that. I'm her shadow. . . Errrrrrrr. . . I. . . Am more like an alternate version of her that hides IN her shadow. . ." The girl explained. "My name? It's Metairie Ai, but please call me Metaru." Metaru explained. I listened to Ai's words but instead I went to sleep. "I believe I'm the. . . SHSL Experiment." Ai stated.

In the end I couldn't sleep so I listened to Ai's story. "I don't remember having both of my arms in their fullest, nor do I remember having both eyes. . ." She stated. "I see, it must be unfortunate. There is someone here who may be able to give you arms but I can't remember who." "I don't mind though. I just have to be careful with the sickle that replaced my lower arm and I'll be fine." Metaru assured. "Sickle? People will be afraid if they see a weapon, you can use long sleeved shirts to cover your sickle." "I also could the sickle into my side. I've bandaged it a lot before." Metaru suggested. "Alright, anyways you should probably sleep now. People will get suspicious of someone staying out at night." "You too, I'll try to get Masuku to a better sleeping spot than the gym floor." Ai stated. "Good night." I went to my bed and fell asleep. Eventually, Ai got Masuku to the infirmary just in case. The next day a body was discovered. The body of my sister hanging herself. Shai: Oh no! Alternate me died! *cries over the death* "W- What. . ?" Masuku mumbled. "S-sister....." I cover my face with fear and sadness then starts to mourn over her death. "F £¥₩k this s¥€€t, I'm out!" Kanjõ stated before exiting the room.

No One's POV

Shai: oh no! Sister is crying! Maki: didn't she murder you? Shai: Didn't Shuichi murder you too? Maki: do you wanna die? Shai: if you kill me you can't leave here. Kanari: *hears the Monofish announcements then everyone comes over shocked* "I cannot look at the corpse any longer, I'm going to go vomit really quickly." Kanjõ states before running off. "Hmmm. . . This feels. . . . Wrong. . . ." Metaru mumbled to herself. 'If anybody speaks to me, it'll have to be in private. I can't be discovered.' Kanari: *still crying* Sakura and HK: *trying to comfort Kanari also crying* ". . .Okay, the hell is Masuku doing? I'm gonna go check on her. . . ." Metaru mumbled to herself before going in the direction that Masuku went. Kanari: *investigating the area now with tears rolling down her cheek* Metaru ends up carrying Kanjõ on her back to bed.

Kanari: *sees Kanjō waiting for the class trial to open then whispers in Kanjō's ear something that no one else heard* "I do not search for the truth, people here look and act very similar to the ones I know but I don't know them." "H- Huh? I- I th- thought. . . Tha- that I-I-I put K- Ka- Kan- Kanj- Kanjõ to b- bed. . . Kanjõ. . . Did you wake up in the infirmary or the room I just placed you in?" Metaru asked. ". . .The in- infirmary. . ." Kanjõ replied. ". . .If it wasn't you I carried to you and Kanari's room. . . THEN WHO THE F£¥K IS IN YOUR ROOM?l" Metaru whisper yelled. Kanari: A doll. W- How?" Metaru asked. Kanari: I made a doll with Sakura and Yachien (or HK) before that looked like Kanjō. "Why leave it near a bathroom though? There's no way anybody but you and now Kanjõ, know about my existence!" Metaru exclaimed. Kanari: I just asked them if we can make some dolls of everyone here for fun, we started with Kanjō and ended with me. A doll of you was never created. "I take no offence to that fact. Was the Kanjo doll conveniently placed where we thought Masuku went? Did someone program movement into the doll? Because apparently Kan was in the infirmary." Metaru showered you in questions. Kanari: I was taking the dolls with me to Sakura's room, I probably dropped it. "Ooooh. . . That makes sense!" Metaru exclaimed. Kanari: Anyways it's time for the trial! *enters the trial room* Sakura: So aunt Shai-Chan got murdered and Shirogane-San went missing. Yachien: What kind of mystery is this? Korudo: They could have both been murdered. ". . .I'll return to your mind, Masuku, and I'll SaVe YoU." Metaru mumbled quietly to Kanjõ before disappearing in the brunettes shadow. Kanari: or.....maybe she is hiding? Korudo: Why would she hide for a few days without food or water? Kanari: I dunno, to not get murdered, and she could take food and water with her since there are bags. Sakura: But But But! Someone would have noticed her! Yachien: Yeah yeah! Kanari: Wait...why are we sticking to the first murder? "Was there wasn't a single point in time that wasn't nighttime in which there would be no one to catch Shirogane - Chan? Even then, the most evidenced possibility would be that Shirogane - Chan was murdered, and then hidden very well." Kanjõ stated, you could see the usual silver glimmer was now a faded green from Metaru as she continued, "If there was no time frame that anyone could recall, then we can say goodbye to the 'Shirogane Is Hiding' theory." Korudo: Good point, and Kanari-San didn't you read the rules? Kanari: Nope. Korudo: *sighs and facepalms* It said that if two murders happen then the culprit for the first one would get executed, not the second one. If the culprit is the same person they still get executed. ". . .By the way. . . I'm wondering if there'd be a trial. . . If the body is cooked, then eaten. . . Or burnt away. . . If there would be no class trial if a body was hidden like this, and Shirogane - Chan is dead. . . I have an idea of how we haven't found the body yet. . . I'm probably wrong, however." Kanjõ stated. Kanari: What is it Kanjō-Chan?Sakura: Was it burned? Yachien: Was it hidden? Korudo: Cooked and eaten by us? "The third one would be easiest, so I bet Shirogane - Chan was cooked and then served this morning." Kanjõ stated, "Cooking the corpse also is the most convenient option for most. Burning the corpse could attract others from either then heat or the light, thus that plan would go out the window. Hiding the body never works. There really aren't many places to hide a corpse in our situation. So by that logic, us eating the corpse in the form of breakfast is the most likely one. Sorry if anybody wants to puke now." Kanari: I-I ate a body!? *nearly vomits* Monofish: *gives vomit bags to everyone* Everyone: *vomits* "However, just figuring out that there's a dead person wouldn't be enough for a class trial, right?" Kanjõ asked, "If this is the case, then there will never be a class trial and the culprit, if they had the intention of leaving, must try again." Kanari: That's right! Everyone! Let us work together to find that culprit! "To who's murder, Kanari - Chan? If you're talking about Shirogane, your efforts will have little effect. If your talking about Shai, then let's do this!" Kanjõ exclaimed, now having Metaru's voice, "Oh well, let's bring Kanjõ back, this also will let you meet me, Metaru Ai!" Metaru stepped out of Kanjõ's shadow as said girl got the faded green back to silver. Now, they were standing shoulder-to-shoulder.  Kanari: ....Split personality? No....twins? "Alternate concepts." Metaru and Kanjõ said in sync. "We aren't exactly sure WHAT our concepts are, however." Kanjõ began. "What we want you to know is that I was the one telling you most of the information that you heard Kanjõ tell you throughout this trial. I originally wanted to keep my existence a secret, but I decided to sooner I reveal myself, the better." Metaru finished. Kanari, Sakura, Yachien: *eyes start to sparkle* COOL!!!! ". . .I. . . thought you guys would become really suspicious of Kanjõ. . ." Metaru mumbled. Sakura and Yachien: WOAAAHHHHHHH IT CAN TALK LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN Kanari: Um....They watch a lot more movies than me. "Hey! Just because my eye got replaced with these vine - like metal things and my lower arm was replaced with a very tint sickle doesn't mean I'm not human! How insensitive! I'd appreciate if you treated me like a PERSON and not as a lab rat!" Metaru shouted, tears being fought back. Kanari: Sorry, they just really like Sci-fi, and they are really childish so bear with me.... "Still. I'm a 'she'; not an 'it'." Metaru mumbled, "I guess I have to forgive you. . ." Kanari: They are like 5 or 10 years olds in a 15 years old body. "May we return to the triial?" Metaru asked. "Y- Yeah, May we? I- I feel l- like if we take much l- longer, M- Mo- Monofish is j- just g- gonna e- execute u- us all. . ." Kanjõ softly explained. Kanari: Alright! Then who is our prime suspect with the current evidence that we have? "I can't really say anything here because I woke up in the infirmary just as the corpse announcement went off, and went to straight to the elevator thing." Masuku sated. "I'm not useful, either. was still trying to keep my existence a secret." Ai stated. Kanari: We don't have much evidence.... Korudo: Let us discuss about the murder, Shai has rope burns on her neck and signs of being strangled instead of suicide, she received a note bringing her to a certain location at a certain time. Why weren't you there witnessing the murder Kanari? Kanari: M-Me? Korudo: Your sister would always tell you to watch afar In case something happened, why don't you know who the murderer is? Kanari: M-My sister never told me anything... "May I ask if the note specifically stated to not show or tell anyone about the note? If it does say something like that, then Kanari - Chan would have a reason for not being aware of this." Kanjõ suggested. Korudo: Hold on, *picks up the note and read it again* ....oh, it says "Don't tell anyone or you sister will be sacrificed instead of you". Understandable since Shai-San would never use her sister. "Okay! . . .So. . . Would that eliminate Kanari - Chan as a suspect? It probably just makes it less likely she's the culprit, so I know it wouldn't eliminate Kanari - Chan as a suspect! I think I've had an epiphany!" (The way I'm using this word is a sudden revelation.) Kanjõ exclaims. Korudo: It makes her less suspicious since she is overprotective when it comes to her sister, Alright. Now who would send this letter? What is their motive? "The one who would've sent that letter would be someone who. . ."

(B) Knows Shai's weakness.

(C) Knows Shai wouldn't bring her sister into it.

'I've got it!'

". . .Whoever sent that letter to Shai - Chan is someone who is very close to Shai - Chan, knows her weaknesses, and knows she wouldn't bring her own sister into the mess! That's correct. . . Right?" Kanjõ asked. Kanari: . . .but I'm the closest to Shai....well actually me and Shai knew everyone here, the only people Shai didn't know was Shuichi, Shirogane, Kanjō, Metaru and Maki. Korudo is me and Shai's childhood friend, Sakura and Yachien are adopted kids, everyone else other than the people she doesn't know are her close friends. "My main reason for believing you aren't the culprit is because if you wrote that note, you'd be implying that you'd kill yourself if Shai - Chan told anybody." Metaru stated. "The epiphany I had was that the culprit had this murder planned from the very start!" Kanjõ exclaimed. Everyone except Korudo(since he cold af): *gasps* Korudo: Well we can see who is smart enough, since Kanari is off our suspect list it could be me and a few others. "I didn't speak to anybody except for Kanari until the first trial, and Metaru hasn't spoken to anyone until yesterday night. I probably will never have the right amount of physical strength to kill." Kanjõ stated. ( Sakura_Wonder has the OCs ready but she wants to give them a different name so she's not saying their names for now. )

???: I-I don't have the courage to m-murder someone. . . ???: I don't have a good enough motive to kill. ???: It doesn't really matter if I kill someone or not, someone is going to die. Korudo: I have nothing to gain from killing someone. "What about freedom? Unless that's no longer valuable." Metaru stated. Korudo: I never had freedom in the first place. Kanari: *looks down knowing what he meant* "O- Okay." Metaru mumbled. "I think that whoever made that letter is someone who knew Kanari - Chan and Shai - Chan were sisters before the killing game." Kanjo suggested. "Whoever made that letter made that letter first and had to post phone their plan because of the murder of Maki!" Metaru and Kanjõ exclaimed, Masuku's soft and high pitched voice clashing with Ai's monotone and louder voice. Kanari: Um...everyone already knew we were sisters..... Korudo: Then that would make me the most suspicious. Kanari: Why!? Korudo: Since I already knew you guys before the killing game, I already knew about Shai's love for you the most, I knew that you were the older sister not Shai already. Kanari: T-True but I don't think you would do it. "I didn't know that! Metaru barely knew crap about anybody!" Kanjõ quietly exclaimed. Kanari: It's fine! It's because everyone here already know each other except you, Metaru, Shuichi, Shirogane, And Harukawa. "Okay. Actually. . . What if this murder was caused by a greater force? The mastermind, perhaps?" Kanjõ suggested, "Perhaps they were going to pin the murder to the memories of one of us, but ended up leading us to dead ends? . . . I'm not sure we'll get through this anymore. . !" 'I just wanna go ho - o - ome! I think we're gonna die. . . I. . . Is this despair?' Kanari: But...who would be the mastermind here? What am I suppose to do? How am I suppose to avenge my sister? *slowly breaking down* "I. . . IT'S SUCH A HOPELESS SITUATION?! IS THIS DESPAIR?! I DON'T KNOW. . !" Kanjõ screamed out, shaking as if she was crying, "SOMEONE JUST KILL ME ALREA - ADY!!" "Don't think like that!" Metaru yelled. Kanari: .... You know...there is still evidence left, some of us found Shirogane's hair in their food, and we found a bloody knife. "That evidence would help with a trial that has to do with Shirogane! This. Trial. Isn't. About. Shirogane!" Kanjõ screamed, cringing at her own voice. Monofish: Actually it is! Since that was the first murder! "Not the first corpse- WHO ARE WE TALKING ABOUT, Shai - Chan or Shirogane - Chan? GIMME A NAME!" Kanjõ yelled. Monofish: Both! Kanari: .....What? Monofish: Since they were murdered by the same person— whoops! I said it! Good luck culprit! Kanari: Noth murdered by the same person? That can narrow down the suspects a bit.... "Actually. . . I take back what I said about the plan being planned from the start. You guys got a file. . . Or am I crazy? If so, did the time of death get shown?" Kanjõ asked. Kanari: Yeah....Shirogane's death wasn't shown though... "Because we never discovered the body! We ate her corpse, I didn't though, but that's besides the point! We went over this! I'm pretty sure if we DON'T discover a body, we don't get a file for that corpse!" Kanjõ exclaimed. Kanari: ... Monofish: You know what? I'm bored! Just vote already! "G- Guess we're s- screwed, right? Nice knowing you guys. . . I had a good run, but we have nothing more to work with. We have no evidence that points to anyone in particular. This truly is the Ultimate Murder. I guess. . . Everyone vote for yourselves. That could cause an error. Good luck." Kanjõ stated. You could just see the whirlpool of feelings in her eyes, and you could now see what swallowed her whole, eating her from inside, every day. Kanari: No....No...This can't end like this *holding herself shivering* .... Korudo: .... *votes for himself* Sakura and HK: *votes for each other* ". . . We don't have a choice." Kanjõ and Metaru stated as they voted for themselves. Kanari: *smiles and votes for herself* Monofish: You are wrong! The blackened is Kanari Hononigai the ultimate fashionista! Kanari: Sorry....I wanted you guys to exit the world first. I don't mind staying behind and losing my memories... "K- . . . Kanari - Cha- a - an!" Kanjõ cried as she tackle hugged the blonde. Kanari: Say hi to Shuichi-Kun for me okay? Since I will be staying in this pod for a while.... *starts to fade away with the background holding Monofish* I promise I will save everyone from....the killing game.... "K- Ka- Kanari - Chan! . . . I'll never forget you! T- Than- Thank y- you!" Kanari: *gives a sad smile then fades away*

Kanjõ's POV (didn't see that comin' , huh?!)

Everyone: *wakes up in a pod but the only one who hasn't waken up is Kanari* ". . . I swear on my life! I'll get Kanari - Chan outta there!" Kanjõ proclaimed with newfound determination. Shai: well...there you go *starts to slowly fade away* enjoy seeing Kanjo again Saihara-Kun, and make sure the others get nice treatment from you guys.....please.....save Kanari *starts to have tears roll down her cheek with a smile* you have to leave....t-the portal is c-closing... "I- I'll do m- my best! . . T- to e- end t- the killing game! I don't care if I must be co mastermind! I. Will. End. This!" Kanjõ yelled as she ran.
