I See
You see broccoli,
I see trees.
You see stars,
I see sprinkles.
You see glitter,
I see fairy dust.
You see a computer,
I see video games and ENDLESS amounts of fun.
You see birds,
I see dragons.
You see daisies,
I see daisy chains.
You see honey,
I see Winnie the Pooh.
You see clouds,
I see floating shapes.
You see horses,
I see unicorns.
You see cats,
I see tigers.
You see summer,
I see ice cream.
You see snow,
I see snowmen.
You see chocolate,
I don't see it, I eat it.
You see pavement cracks,
I see snapping crocodiles.
You see an empty carpet,
I see molten lava.
You see mother,
I see an angel.
You see grandpa,
I see a horse to ride on.
You see a house,
I see a palace.
You see a mirror,
Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all?
(Me of course!).
You see rainbows,
I see fairyland.
You see pots and pans,
I see drums and musical instruments.
(I also see my mum not so pleased with me).
You see a stick,
I see a magic wand.
You see toys,
I see life.
You see books,
I see stories.
You see homework,
And I see...Ugh...I don't want to think about that!
You see rain,
I see tears.
You see black,
I see white.
You see nothing,
I see everything.
You see me,
I see you.
You see darkness.
And eventually,
I see it too.
